Downtime Message Pop-up

One hour before downtime, and then 30/15/5 minutes before, there is a popup message to tell the players that the server is coming down. This is all well and good, but it completely shuts down your User Interface until you click the OK button.

Can we change this? I haven't lost anything yet, but Im waiting for the day one of my ships explodes because I can't click on anything due to this popup window.

Can this be changed so that the window still shows up, but doesn't shut down your overview.

Frequent annoyance for me as well. This is an issue for anyone who plays before downtime.

Despite corp affiliation I agree completely with this. The day when I die to a gate camp when I can't cloak because that message pops up is the day I **** and moan and keep playing eve anyway. A good change.

Exactly this, downtime is during aussie prime time (9:30pm).
And with living in a wormhole, you end up running the world of alts all at once.

Doesnt effect bot users, since its close to servers shutting down anyways, but it DOES effect players in those awkward timezones, im all for this, as i used to play around downtime, and nothing is more frustrating then trying to sneak-haul some moon-ores out of a lowsec pos and having to log out 13 jumps from highsec, and try to coordinate logons afterwards to get the fleet back on at the same time, not a game breaking issue, bhut definetly a severe inconvenience.

(note: i dont hang in lowsec anymore, just what my old corp did, so i know the feels of downtime suckage)

Good idea, not being able to activate reppers/boosters, or various other important modules at the right time because popup can really break things. The guns may not shut off, but you had the booster turned off to save cap until you needed it?

Make the whole UI turn red with alarm sounds. People will get the message without the need to block the UI.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.
