Buckingham Mirror Status

The !! TEST SERVER INFORMATION !! post states Buckingham was last mirrored on August 10th.

Is this accurate?

Last I checked Mirrors aren't done by request of players, expect one when the new features get put on buckinham if that happens.

I need to talk to people tomorrow to work out the most appropriate date but yeah there will be a mirror in the near future (before 8th November)

Does "Reactivation" sync your TQ and Buckingham/SiSi accounts?
I've just started using the test server but the mirror from August means im down several million skill points which makes it rather hard for me personally to test things out.

It doesn't affect skillpoints, just your login details. To get skillpoints on the test servers, you can participate in mass tests which award 2m per test (for test server use only ofc).

EDIT: mirroring however does line up both account info and skillpoint info.

i always lose a ton of sp on mirror and only get at most 10m sp.
if i got all my points id be max out by now on all my toons.

You only can get a maximum of 10m SP applied out of the last few mass tests (Can't find the exact number)

If we say its 5 (5*2 = 10) then it would be like:

Attend 5 mass tests in a row = 10m SP

Attended 5 Mass Tests but Missed the last one = 8m SP as you have technically only taken part in 4 (it only remembers the last 5)


If anyone can clarify this it would be appreciated

Any updates on this? I know the main purpose of the server is to test CCPs stuff, but there are some things I would really like to play with but can't because I have several characters that all get the relevant skills long after Aug. 10th.

I've requested that a new mirror be taken. I hope to have it up on Buckingham next Thursday/Friday

Is it possible to tell us when the mirror will be taken? That is, when the snapshot will be made, not when it is going to be applied to Buckingham.

Testing stuff is very difficult for wormhole dwellers. The test server does not retain any POS structures. This means that on the test server everything you had in your POS is gone. Since it's also almost impossible to find any wormholes on the test server, setting up training situations is a nightmare.

We would like to test stuff that involves capital ships. If we knew when exactly the snapshot will be taken, we could park our caps in the forcefield that day, so they do not vanish on Buckingham. I assume the snapshot is always taken during downtime?

The snapshot was taken on Monday or Tuesday (I'll doublecheck tomorrow).
