Even though I am sitting in this chair in front of my 5 computes with a machine breating for me and I have to have a nerse come and move me to my bed to sleep. I enjoy the communication that I receive from the EVE community. My physical body is failing me yet my mind remains as sharp is it has always been. EVE has become my life in cyberspace as I can not particapate in real life.

Yes, I am still not happy with all of the disconnects. Yet I truelly appreciate everyones comments to this post - enjoy the life you have as it is most precious, you only fully realize than when it is suddenly taken from you..

If you slept at the PC your ISK/hour would be a crap load better.

Train your nurse up as a hauler or a logi alt and profit like a bandit.

If only you could sit in a vat of goo you would be 100% immersed there.

Fly well!

Just to add some humor to this post.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.
Those who understand binary and those who do not.

I'm not sure this is CCP's problem. I've had one disconnect in the past four months. And one of them for sure was due to my local ISP, not because of CCP.

Now, granted, my play sessions only last an hour or two each time, but I still think you should look at your ISP. (Many ISP's do deep-packet inspection and other stuff that can disrupt timing-sensitive games like EVE.)

I used to get DC'd quite a bit more than I do now, but I have to say that since Inferno came out, my game client has been very stable.

Binary on your fingers is handy. That way, you can count up to 1023 :) (or 31 on one hand)

And stop showing me the finger. on both hands.

I far prefer 306.

I am a nurse, and am an orca/freighter pilot.....

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse [lady of commercial virtue]. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.- James Nicoll

Out mining with a gang, suddenly everyone is disconnected.

This happened within less than an hour. We all warped and jumped back to home system and logged off.

Pointless to keep trying.

Thank You,

this has nothing to do with CCP but with your ISP as right now the states is getting contant DDOS attacks from Iran...

its sad that RL cyber war is interfearing with our fictional cyber wars...

At least you didn't lose any ships due to it. I lost 2 10mil frigs on an alt last night due to disconnects. Worse than the isk loss was having to fly 12 jumps to reship, twice. Both times disconnected on unfriendly gates and came back to pods thanks to navy police.

You lost nothing, so move on, I surely have.

I thought my kids to count binary on their fingers.

The scary thing is that they still know it 10+ years later ....

OK,

Been watching this more carefully. We can sit in a system with 43 players in local and not get any disconnects.

Then I remembered working in SISI - and haveing to wait for the system to load because we were the only ones there.

Hmmm, what are the default CPU/NETWORK numbers for a LOW populaton system?

I am thinking just maybe these numbers are too low. As stated we can sit in a system with 43 local players and have no disconnects, as soon as we put the gang together and go to a system where we are the only 3 players in local we are continously disconnected.

Food for devs - hint hint :)
