See Flint was kinda bad for Early europe .. it's a onesize fits all kind of tool ... Once you had flint you didnt really need that much of anything else.

The lack of flint forced the protochinese to be extra inventive ... which is why in some areas they were hundreds of years ahead of the Europeans.
