I'd happily let you join my corp, but this thread smells like scam bigtime.

Would you accept sending me 500 Million ISK as insurance ?

I will convo you after you've sent the money. In the convo, we'll have a talk,
i'll ask you about your API key (will guide you through that if necessary)
and after the interview you'll get your money back.

Deal ?

Hell yeah Providence.

You don't even have to join an alliance to move there thanks to NRDS.

Actually most (not all, most) of the alliances centered on the western side of EVE are very newbie friendly when it comes to fresh faces from empire wanting to try things out.

If you're really interested groups like TRIBE and TEST have corps that are generally always hiring.

My advice to you is fairly simple:

1) Don't join any alliance that wants a fee up front

2) Don't pay to join any alliance or corp, for any reason at all (outside of a modest corp tax that you'll get benefits from)

3) Don't join any alliance that makes ops mandatory

There are dozens of alliances that instantly fit that bill, hold space and are willing to teach you how to do things in 0.0. The idea that 'null bears won't let anybody into their club' is a fallacy (also the term nullbear is infantile and silly), you just have to look around because CCP won't let us put up gigantic NOW HIRING billboards around empire.

QFT.

Imho, the only requirements to join a nullsec corp/alliance is to know how to read, and do your research.

To be completely honest, if you want to learn about nullsec, have a good time in it, and are new, there is no better option than Goonswarm or TEST. Both alliances also tend to win their wars, unlike pretty much everyone else in EVE, heh.

So long as you don't get eaten by recruitment scams, I guess.

Yeah, I'm not aware of any other truly newbie-friendly entity in 0.0.

I've said this a few times, and I'll say it a few more times I guess.

Goonswarm and Test alliance are extremely newbie friendly, and the way to join our alliances is posted in pretty clear terms. What we are not is idiot friendly. If you can't be bothered to read our respective recruitment threads on the communities that spawn from you are probably too dumb to press F1 when the FC tells you too, probably too dumb to live in nullsec, and probably far too dumb to grok these words I'm writing.

Every single person who has been caught up by a scam is a moron of the highest caliber.

Undoubtably right now there is already another post in the Goonswarm recruitment thread from someone who just created a SA account 15 minutes ago going "Golly I follow all your goonie antics on eve online and just can't wait till I can join you in game o7 fly safe m8". And this is a post in the thread where the VERY FIRST POST instructs you on what to do and what not to do to join.

It's unbelievable.

CCP Games could post a notice up on the login to Eve Online with the Goonswarm recruitment policies and people would still be strangling themselves to death on our doorsteps.

Yeah but you aren't "Learning null" in a NRDS region. Because there is only one region that follows those rules, and that's providence. If I wanted to learn how to "Survive" nullsec and how it all works I'd go to Syndicate long before providence.

You need to walk before you can run, find yourself a good small gang alliance, preferably in NPC space.
