Deployment of code, particularly development-stage code, is a very inexact art, requiring just the right combination of skill, black magic, and alcohol on the part of the developers, and just a little bit of patience on the part of the people the deployment is meant for.

Or it needs the right people to be in the office, and not watching a movie :P They had the last patch testing during their summer vacation, and this little test period started on "CCP's day off" ... It just seems to show how much they value their testers (meaning not at all).

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

So has anyone else been able to connect? Patched it but it's not letting connections.

Edit: It seems that Tranquility is having issues so I can see why they haven't opened this up yet.

I don't know where you're getting this "movie" stuff from.

Ed: Also, whatever CCP is doing, or why it's taking so long, I can't see how having a negative attitude and insulting their professionalism to their face is going to do anything other than making them not like you.

I'm terribly sorry about this being so late, there were a few hiccups with internal tools the last couple of days that have made this harder than most test server deployments. I'm logging in right now to make sure the market seeding worked and will update this thread if I find any major issues, I am not part of the feature teams scheduling this test though so I don't have any answers to questions on the content being deployed.

My only point is that they scheduled this testing period. Perhaps the day off was sprung up on them recently, but they could have delayed the testing, or at least made a comment in the thread 2 or 3 hours after they missed the mark. Perhaps where you work, you can be 2 or 3 hours late without giving any kind of notice, but for most people it would be considered unprofessional.

Erogo Proxy reloged and that fixed it. Sov is broke it seems it is not showing up.

Scolluzar Solar system is having issues loading now.

Also Adirain, Brapelille, Masalle.

Gates and stations are not rendering some times but do work.

Wrecks do not render

Rocks do not render

I am heading out of the office now, not really sure what happened with my client but CCP RubberBAND was able to log in and jump around without major issues. Will keep an eye on this thread and try to fix this tomorrow if needed.

the button to remove modules in the fitting window does not work, modules have to be manually dragged to the hangar to remove them

using sp on newly plugged in skills does not work, putting the skill in the queue and removing it seems to fix it

switching ammo doesn't work you have to drop the ammo to cargo then load the one you want(space or station, doesn't matter)

Gates repeatedly fail to recognize that I'm trying to jump, furthermore I'm having the same problems as everyone else in terms of things not rendering.

Missions that require you to kill a structure are incompletable.

Structures cannot be destroyed.

If you Leave Ship, you're in your capsule, but the graphic remains the previous ship in the ship hangar.

ok somethings i have found.

Station and jump gate models not loading in space.

When ships go pop there new effects are weak and unfilling. the old ones are better.

Tempest models all of them the weapon placements are nice there all on the hull now but turret placements were the hardpoints on the models are way off there to far forward by about half a hardpoint.

When you load 8 weapons on the ship the last mount is so off you could place 1 more weapon there.

I ran buzz kills with both my account ya the ai changes targets but did not feel any diffent from before so the new ai will mess up ninja sal and mission tag alongs with low skilled pilots.

New item in ships right click "Log off safely" does what?
Ore hold does not show up in the neocom inventory tree had to drag it onto the neocom.
The compact mode could use a way to see how full it isSmile

A brief test this evening after waiting all day for Duality to open and downloading 1.6 Gig of ‘stuff’, I must say I’m not overly impressed.

Like others no Gates, Stations, Custom Offices, and in space objects render at all.

Massive frame rate drops when entering warp (seems to be sound related due to the new warp sound), also happened when jumping through a gate, docking and most times when I click to ‘do something’. These drops only occur for a brief ‘glitch’ type drop but cause the ship to ‘rubber band’ badly when they happen.

Was flipping through the market and it suddenly stopped refreshing the lists, then emptied the list and only left the headers. Market is now unusable.

No pictures downloading for portrait (I copied mine from an old cache), some ships, some items in containers and other odd displays like the targeted ship/item displaying as an ‘!’ mark.

Unable to try shooting anything as I can’t see them, I have some lovely crosses with a sort of spinning pizza effect around them, it would be nice to see what they referred to. If I turn brackets off space is very empty Smile.

I did notice the (for me), new button on the HUD to set your ‘Safety’, On/Med/Off so you get warnings of impending doom should a noob try doing something daft, nice touch (I think).

Ah well off to bed, will have another try in the morning, good luck all.
