After nearly 10 years playing Eve and just short of 5 years after creating and running SOTF its time to hand in my spaceship keys and call it a day as a combination of RL stuff, work, growing family - 3 young kids easier to cope with than most Eve corps! but all good stuff tbh has called time on my Eve.

Tekitha will be the new CEO of SOTF and he will do a fantastic job as he is an awesome dude and along with Lock Out has been without doubt one of the main driving forces behind this corp and a huge part of creating our successes and have both my personal thanks and respect for what they have done for SOTF.

Its been an awesome ride and i want to give a massive shout out to all SOTF members both past and present as without you guys the comradary, laughs, serious buisiness, drunken behaviour and overall general awesomeness of this corps members would not make this corp it is today.

I'll mention a few names for special thanks (dont be offended if i miss you off!)

Ammon Dei - who we have had countless hours trying to keep both our ships on the right course together!
FIRST GENERAL - Mah WBR brosef
Loren Gallen - Just for being an awesome dude and a legend in eve - been an honour for you to be in the SOTF colours.
Popiejopie - For spending countless hours with me throwing ship after ship into stuff.
Damar - For providing content for so many people (i dont dislike you, no matter what you think mate)
Feronia - most have no clue who she is, but she helped me generate enough isk to pvp for a long time.
Eelis - For her drunken conversations and laughs.
Drackarn - Mah brosef now in the middle east.

Like i said if ive missed any then apologies, theres way too many to mention.

Finally to all enemies and friends alike, i salute you for providing what has been an epic game for me and fantastic experience.

Ps stuff, haz, no you cant.

In the darkest FW days for the Gallente, that many have now forgotten, our militia was falling apart but SoTF was held together by your planning and forward thinking.

I think you always had a clear vision of what you wanted for the corp and where you wanted it to be and I am sure you have achieved that now. Let's not forget that SoTF started life as a 3 man corp of ex-industrialists.

On the journey to what SoTF has become you tried many things to keep the corp moving and the pvp coming in. Some of it worked and some did not but you were never afraid to give something a go and you were always there keeping everyone together and moving us on to the next adventure.

We always joked that you must have had diplomacy 6 trained as you no matter what **** storm was kicking off you always managed to calm it down, often ending up with some unforeseen benefit to your corp.

You took your role as CEO very seriously but never once lost your temper, you always stood by your members but never let anyone take the ****, and you had basic honorable principles in Eve that you always stuck to.

And aside from all that CEO crap you had me in stitches on coms many a night. I will never again look at Apricot scrub in the same way... If RL goes **** up please become and alcoholic and run a radio station - I will tune in every night, even if you do sing god awful cheryl cole songs for half the show.

Best wishes for the future mate to you and your lovely family.

/wipes a tear away.

End of an era mate and has been a fantastic ride. From the stories of you going AFK to pop down to the hotel bar in just your underpants to get more wine to that time in Nottingham when your head literally did the 180 at the cash machine (you know what I'm talking about!).

Eelis has already beaten me to the obvious things so all I'll say is, you are right in 'never say never' and I'll be back in Europe in April for a UK visit plus Fanfest and we'll do that trip to that Birmingham club I've been promising :o)

Keep in touch

I do not expect you to come back soon. But from my own personal experience. When things cool down, and life gets back under control. I would expect you to come back and fly with us. So keep your stuffs, it will be there when you get back.

It has been a long long road we have traveled. Through ups and downs and all the drama storm's we have survived. You will truly be missed.

Thank you,

5 years in management in Eve is a long time. So congratulations to surviving that, maintaining your sanity and staying relevant to what you do.

I'm sure Tek will keep up the good job and continue wardeccing any Gal Mil corp who doesn't provide good cap intel ;)
