Battlespace is a channel for 1 v 1 and group v group fights WITHOUT the need to join any corporation! All fights are 1 jump from Jita (in Muvolailen solar system).

Respect following simple but very important rules and have a fun.

1) You can destroy only a ship, not the pod!

2) ECM modules are prohibited to use.

3) All fights have to be in Muvolailen solar system. That system is 1 jump from Jita.

4) Organize your fights as written below:
a) Post your request to Battlespace channel, not in the Local channel! For example: “Rifter for 1v1 against rifter”. If you want to fight against other Standard Frigate, you have to write Standard Frigate. If you write Frigate you can meat Assault Ship.
b) When you receive an answer, from a pilot that is willing to fight with you, write him the number of two different planets (from I to XI) in Muvolailen solar system.
c) Go to the first planet you previously wrote and drop container with 1 ammo inside. Take (don’t leave!) the content of container that your opponent drops. Now both of you are Criminally Flagged and can fight in Empire, but don’t fight here! If the fight is group v group, than every person have to drop the number of containers that equal the number of the opponents and also take one container from all the opponents.
d) Go to the second planet you previously wrote. Let the battle begin!

Remember you can destroy only a ship, not the pod! Destroying pod is prohibited and will be punished!
Also remember that Criminal Flag will remain for 15 minutes. You will be also Criminally Flagged to a corporation and an alliance of the person you fought with. So, to avoid any misunderstanding, it is highly recommended to stay in station until Criminal Flag goes away.

You can join us in EVE Online chat channel "Battlespace" without quotes.

So what happens when someone ships up and ECM's ur ass or brings the rest of their corp to kill the flagged looter?

You will likely see:
Corpmates in cloaky drake/gila/cain/whatevs at 2nd planet waiting for the target to enter warp to planet 2. As soon as you enter warp the drake/whatevs disables cloak so that lock timer/cooldown is gone by the time you land.

If I took part in this I would expect to be instalocked and then hit in the face with an alpha cain/nado almost everytime I landed at 2nd planet.

Also - many people will pod in high sec if they suspect expensive implants. Getting a 1bil+ pod kill is worth concord killing a 3mil T1 merlin fit.

Good intentions (maybe the opposite) - but your idea is not going to goto plan.
You have no way of enforcing the rules you have set.

In fights outside Battlespace the ECM modules are very nice, because you don't know who you will engage. In Battlespace, before fight you know the ship that will have your opponent and can easily choose right ECM modules. In this case ECM modules will have unfair advantage.

I am not afraid too much of the people who will bring there corp. mates to help them. If you are new to the Battlespace it is better to begin with T1 and other cheep ships. I dont think that bringing corp. mates is good idea only to kill rifter, don't worth that. When you will know people better in channel and they know you, after you can try to play with more expensive ships. For exemple if you know some guy in channel for 2 or 3 weeks and he plays a lot in Battlespace and never was seen in unfair behavior I think it is not big risk to try to fight with him with more expensive ships.
Also 1v1 fights in low and null sec are not rare. Some people believe in that, some don't . It is matter of trust.

Criminal Flaged does not allow to kill pod in any case. If you kill pod Concord will come after you.

Ether allow Multi-spec ECM or ban webbs, TD's, Scrams, disruptors, NOS/nuet's and TP's. As is ECM is only strong on a ship that bonuses it and if they have to call out there ship type in a channel every one will know what's coming.

If your not even going to try for balance you should also ban rifters for being pod racers and navitis's for being to fish like.

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

"Stealing from a container will expose you to potential attacks from all players " http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=73443

But in the still being worked on they do say "We're also working on a replacement for the usage of loot-theft as a way to initiate consensual 1v1s without incurring criminal penalties that we hope to release for Winter." So they are planning on releasing something that you could make use of but it might not be in as part of the Crimewatch 2.0 changes. So you may lose the mechanic for a while.
