EVE Online: Inferno 1.3 has been deployed successfully.

This latest update brings numerous graphical fixes and continues to build a solid framework for the future integration of DUST 514 into the EVE Online universe. With Inferno 1.3 we see the introduction of the first planetary district graphics, planetary district satellites and an improved EVE chat.

Please check the patch notes for full details here.

General feedback about Inferno 1.3 can be posted to the general feedback thread.

Issue: Graphics do not display properly. In the station, there is simply a black screen. Any windows brought up and closed appear to remain on the screen after closing. When undocking, the graphics do not load properly except for the brackets. This is similar to Windows when it freezes and you move a window and it appears to still be where it was before.

Hardware: Mac Mini 2.4 GHz i5, NVIDIA GeForce 320M, 8GB RAM

OS: Snow Leopard v 10.6.8

Reproduction: Upon the patching of EVE last night, the graphical issues began. I then deleted all of my EVE files and redownloaded, installed, and repatched and the issues were still present.

I currently cannot play the game at all due to this issue. I have loaded other games to see if it was my graphics card and every thing else works fine. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

I presume "delete all the eve files" means the ones in the Library/Application Support folder too? (Be aware that deleting those files results in extreme pain. You lose any and all settings. At least save your overview someplace safe.)

Does changing the graphics setting do anything? I find I get graphics anomalies on some settings, but not others. But Ive never had anything that bad.

All of the lights on all ships seem to be showing through the ships themselves, no matter where on the ship the lights are placed. No matter how I rotate my ships, the lights shine through the ship's skin. I am using a new maxed-out rMBP with the highest settings.
