So much for immersion.

Is this planned to get changed?

I don't always post on the forums, but when I do, I post with my main.

There are people who still use the old outdated CQ.

Get with the program, they just released an innovative new Hanger for us.

It's there but it is so small you cannot see it without the help of binoculars.
I call this immersion. :p

Do you see that light at 223 degrees, just slightly above the circular platform on which your ships fly?
Yes, that thing that looks like a window with lights in it.
Yep, there it is.

^^ That.

Realise that the hangar is some 10km across; your ship is probably several hundred meters long (if you're flying anything above frigate size), and that the opening you're looking for on the opposing wall, 6-7km away, is about the size of an back yard shed.

Next time you fly somewhere, take a note of how many sheds you notice — or can even make out from the rest of the ground clutter — and go then revisit this question…

No, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to listen to them. Does it..does it? Maybe one day companies will learn to understand the production of random Internets drama. BTW please give us WiS and not WiRoom please, now.... *******

Umm, no. I've not witnessed compromise other than on CCP's part. It's easier to whip the coder for what he didn't provide versus praise for what they did give.

It's like the middle east, everyone wants peace except a couple of schmucks that believe only they can be correct and stir the pot at every opportunity, deserved or not. It's a lose-lose scenario.

See, what actually happens is that your ship gets taken from the departure dock to the dry dock because it is unpiloted. What you see from your balcony is an entirely different hangar, which just happens to look eerily similar to the departure dock hangar.

There you have it! One serving of "immersion", enjoy it and don't ever post about this again.

So…

…I think I've found it.

If the image looks off, it's because I had to colour-correct it a bit to compensate for the murky corners of the hangar bay and the fog.

I can't really think of anyone I hate more than people who cry about "immersion" in video games. They are probably the lamest form of life that exists.

Immersion in a game that originally claimed to be a scifi experience is very important.

However, people who complain about immersion, when the immersion is actually there, are just blind whiners.

As Tippia has shown with pretty pics, our CQ is there, just very tiny (as it should be).
