I know this is probably no help to you but it may help CCP figure this out but I had this issue and have managed to solve it in a round about fashion.

I have two Eve client installs (I've always found this easier). After the patch today one client would not spin ships on any accounts but the other install would spin ships on ALL accounts.

What I did was copy all the files from my
"documents and settings\username\application data\ccp\eve\client ONE install\settings"

folder to my

"documents and settings\username\application data\ccp\eve\client TWO install\settings"

folder.

So it looks like the non-spinny thing is caused by something within the character settings files.

So you copied the settings and that fixed the spinning, is that correct understanding? You don't happen to have a copy of the original settings do you?

Are station spinning interiors in an Incursion system supposed to be stained Yellow/Green?

Just kinda curious... I actually like it. Thoughts?

Did you download the client update that was prompted on starting the client after you had installed the patch?

I am running two clients on the same computer (each in a separated sym-linked folder so that they have different settings) and I am experiencing the same issue (ships don't spin when dragging the mouse) in only one of them, therefore it seems unlikely that the problem is hardware related. It also seems to happen independent of what ship I have active (tried with 4-5 different ships). I have also been trying changing the graphic settings to mimic those in the client that works to no effect.

I am using Windows 7 64 bits.

Bug:

A sliver of a picture of station ship hanger from earlier this year:
http://localhostr.com/files/0kEgNby/before.png

And today:
http://localhostr.com/files/brFYPPt/after.png

I noticed this on Sisi, but figured it would have been caught before release. It appears that some fog/shaders are missing. What high looks like now is what medium or low used to look like.

I would very much appreciate if you would file a bug report and include the settings from the two installations. Also mention my name in there so that it gets to me directly. Thanks :)

Overview and Station Services are resizing!

CCP, I warned you about this. Twice on the forums, and once in a bug report. I warned you about this and you told me you knew of the problem - how did it end up in a Tranquility release? I pretty much specifically said "this will be a deal-breaker for some players".

Why is this not fixed?

You're still not listening to your testers. You still don't care that we're putting in the hours. I am very disappointed in you.

I also ran into this. I have filed a bug report with my settings file both pre-patch and after the problem was fixed by clearing all settings -- which works but is rather drastic, alas.

It is marked to your attention so you should get it within a week or two. Twisted

CCP Konflict also asked for this in another thread, btw.

Also, in the station I am in, Inherent Implants in Bittanshal, the camera is centered on a point below my ship, and I really think it ought to center on the ship itself -- you can get a view where you can't even see the ship.

I have noticed that upon docking and undocking all of my pinned windows on the right side (and only along the right side) are being resized and shuffled around. It seems to be simular to what would happen if the window size/res was being changed with each dock/undock.

Yes that is correct, copied the settings files (core_char_xxxxx.dat / core_user_xxx.dat etc) from the spinning client to the non spinning client and got my ships to spin. Funny thing is that at some point I will have copied those across in the past so that both clients are set up the same.

And sorry no, I just did an overwrite when I copied across so I don't have the non working versions anymore Cry

Are you on PC or Mac? Please provide the following details and we'll look into it:

* Ship type
* Hardware details
* Graphics settings.

Same issue,

* Ship type: Ibis
* Hardware details: Core2Quad 6600; Radeon HD6770; 6GB RAM, Win7 64bit
* Graphics settings.

All high, no AA, no resource chache, 1920x1080

No difference between "load station environments on/off"

I have a 2nd client folder on my PC, it works fine on that one.

Maybe an issue with the patcher?

I did notice that the quality of the stations seems less hi-res than I remember them.

We did in fact receive reports of this happening, as stated in the threads you linked above we were never able to get this to happen repeatedly. The reproduction steps we had at the time of release were:
1. Wipe setting and cache
2. Log into CQ
3. ESC menu -> Disable "Load station environment"
4. Undock
5. Dock
6. Station menu now aligned to bottom right

But the above steps only triggered the issue once, after that it never happened again until the above steps were repeated. This led me to judge this as not severe enough to stop us from releasing Incarna 1.1.2 which hopefully seems like a logical conclusion. Fast forward to today, soon after Tranquility opened up it became clear that this was affecting more users than we had expected. It now seems obvious that this should have been considered a more serious issue, we will do our best to investigate the cause and provide a workaround. From our initial results it looks like it should be easy to work around this by modifying user settings so we should not require a patch.
