There's always the possibility he did it just to annoy his alliance. Maybe he was sick of being bossed around by some Eastern European guy and being forced to fly a titan for the benefit of alliance leaders he doesn't even like. I guess that's the kind of thing I'd do if I was pissed off and for that reason, I applaud this guy for making a stand against his oppressors and making them look bad.

10/10 for self destructive behaviour just to spite the people who annoy you.

The entire thing seems like a setup. Either that, or the show "Punk'd" had a larger influence on our culture than anyone ever suspected.

You weren't in local with him when it happened, I was. He sperged in romandian, HARD. It was entirely worth it, got my supercap on the best killmail in eves history.

I can only echo a comment from the comments: "What the actual f**k?"

A Titan represents a lot of RL money. If you take the cost of a PLEX as the exchange rate (~$20 US RL, ~580M ISK in-game), a Titan costs about $2,200 US. I can think of lots of things I'd rather do with two grand than flush it down the toilet like this.
