I am creating this thread mostly just out of curiosity, I have noticed that the area where my ship name is will blink sporadically when I am outside a busy station.

I had read somewhere that this was an indicator that someone is scanning your cargo. I tested this theory today, and it does appear to be the case.

I dont really expect any type of response to this, and apologize if I'm wasting someone's time (sorry!).

So the question is:

Why does my ship name on the inventory screen blink when i'm outside busy stations?

Thanks to whoever decides my curiosity should be satisfied.
