Especially since they run faster meaning less lag. And everyone hates lag.

It is very easy on cpu/gpu.

Quick scan gives me about 20-30 percent cpu usage in CQ, 7-10 percent in spinner and 0 percent when window minimized to taskbar while in spinner. GPU temperatures in same order are 69c/65c/45c and fan speed is much lower in spinner than in cq.

edit: and yes... clients take much less memory in spinner than in CQ.

It is at least as good it was before. Very nice work there.
Thank you.

The only reason i prefer ship spinning is because that door was awfully boring and bland.
Just a wallpaper, no interactivity at all, nothing moving...

So, ship spinning is better, but i wish that CCP would have put it into a new jacket.
- New background
- More moving things (news screen, ships flying, maybe some people walkingfar in the background, scrolling news banners)

Here is an old example.

Less lag? For who?

In my opinion, new hangar is little more gpu hungry then old one was, and there are tiny differences like fog and that hole under the ship on caldari stations is bigger then before. Also ships are on lower hight from floor.

I don't complain. My comp can handle CQ w/out any problems, even before all optimisations are apllied.

Can you give me eta for rest of the wis (establisments)?

I first heard obout this game in 2008 from a banner in a browser game I played at the time. I desided to give it a try. When I docked in station for the first time after doing tutorial in space, my first thought was "can I leave ship and walk inside the station?".
I found that I can't. I was a little dissapointed. Anfortunatly I played another MMO at a time I wasn't ready to quit just yet. Anyway, I played for 13 days and I found like EVE. I never stop thinking obout EVE.

I started playing EVE for real in 2009. I was very dissapointed when I heard that WiS postponed in favour of FiS because I was egerly waiting for WiS since 2009.

O well, I waited this long, I gues I can wait a little more.

I didn't get a new license agreement.

However, I did notice if you're in an Incursion, the station is stained "yellow/green" from the incursion system lighting (it must be). My alt in another Amarr station showed up as the standard Amarr station colors, while mine docked in an Incursion system is showing up very gold hued/tinted.

Intentional?

This effect is definitely intentional. The station ambient sound also changes in incursion territory, but I'm not sure if that has actually been implemented in this version of the hangar.
