The load on the system? why for the sake of other games improve gaming PC, but for the sake of your favorite games can not. And this is the part of the people is very small, and the others do not hear, because they do not whine. But those that Troll spinig necessary, the developers are listening. This is a mistake.

Dude, I have no idea what any of that means.

It's not that my system can't handle it... it just lags other stuff as a result. Also: I don't care about WiS in it's current form. What.... walk around a single room? Got it. I've seen the couch. I've seen the TV. That's great. There's no point. If I'm changing out ship fittings or market orders I want things snappy. Why bother w/ WiS? There's nothing going on in there. No Minmatar slave strippers, no parties... hell I don't even have a fridge. Just some food that's probably rotting on the random ledge or table that I can't pick up anyway.

You and a few others, you are invisible to anything. But for others, it's cool, it's the future of the game. Due to the fact that few whining, developers postponed Incarna, possibly because of this. It was crappy to look at how that screaming CQ this misery and that the avatars do not need. Dude. Like spin? continue spins. What will you do if introduce new docks? will scream that they also do not need?

No you got me all wrong. I think avatar game play sounds awesome and I would love to see it. Exploring sleeper sites, setting up a seedy pleasure hub with gambling, hell I'd even like to cross-train some dust skills and take Gogela planet side. I'm just saying walking around in a room is boring. It's not that the playerbase had a problem with it at all, imho. It was that the CEO of CCP was riding on his high horse, and they never delivered it. Not only didn't they deliver us avatar gameplay, but the rest of the game suffered for the effort. I'm not going to recap the whole thing though... google is your friend. tl;dr; avatar gameplay is cool and if we ever see it I'll use it. They've delivered nothing of value thus far though.

Edit: P.S. - If I were invisible to anything, would I be invisible to everything? Would be a cool super power...

Yes, it's true. I do not mind spinning. But when the issue involves what? CQ or spinning? Only CQ. If you do not touch the topic, or that it is better that we should not, then yes, let them be both, and everyone is happy. I agree.

CQ is what I prefer, but I need a new dual core CPU, that and the load times are too long, that and I'm running two clients on one pc.

So I'm forced to use station view, but, for the record, CQ all the way.

And you and I and other realties when we will walk in the stations, there is hope. but maybe I'm what is not written or not expressed, or is difficult to understand me, but share a year that is good and what is bad as it is not appropriate. Spinning out of date. he was tired. it is not needed and also boring. I'm sorry, but I'm good talking in Russian, but not very good in English. In other posts I think you understood me. Dude.
Best regards from Russia.

Ahh... I was just messing with you... dude. I don't speak any Russian, so no offence. I agree there is *hope* of walking in stations. I agree it would be cool. I'm just saying I've been playing for six years and ever since I started they were talking about this cool upcoming feature... and I'm still waiting.

Edit: ...and since the choices were 1) Spinning or 2) CQ I selected spinning. In reality I'm not spinning. If I'm docked I'm managing inventory or manufacturing, doing market stuff, re-fitting, etc. Otherwise if I'm docked it's a good bet I'm AFK.

And here I agree. I've been playing for about 5 years, and also look forward and hope. Yes, introduced Incarna, unfortunate, but there is hope. and it's better than spinning. But let it be and spinning, and the CQ, that no one was hurt.

Ship Spinning here.

Captains Quarters( WIS ) makes my client more unstable and the client crashes much more often. You can watch your PC memory being used and not released when you dock and undock multiple times with CQ turned on. Admittedly, it has been at least half a year or more since I last turned CQ on and left it on for a day, so these memory problems may have been fixed by now.

TBH, I am looking forward to doing more with WIS. It has great potential.

When it comes to PvP, I am like a chiwawa hanging from a grizzley bears pair of wrinklies for dear life.

This pilot lives in W, but those few times Im docked, CQ is normally on. For my alts, CQ is on for the one I play the most, but off for the others. This is because normally when those others are on I'm multi-boxing and my little laptop would get real slow if everyone had CQ on.

If I only get one vote in the poll: CQ on. Its what I see the majority of time I'm docked.

I do not want to argue, I just want to express their opinion. Just a very long wait, and offensively as handled the Incarna, and as it is revoked. I just wish that it would in this dispute CCP watched what people want, then waiting, waiting, and what we all hope.

Ship spinning. I'll go play WoW if I want an avatar.

Sometimes I enter CQ and then forget to re-enter ship hangar, so I just end up standing at the balcony looking up at my ship. That and I find using the CQ menues easier than the new Unified Inventory.

After years of ship spinning it's nice to have a change and use the CQ (I don't undock a lot so don't mind the load screens). I still want the option to ship spin though, it's much more practical if you're not planning on staying in a station long.

Stegas Tyrano wrote:

This is sadly true, the new unified inventory is so badly designed it's comical - made worse by the fact that the old one was far more intuitive (it wasn't great but at least it wasn't a mess like the current one). They really need to add a "classic" option for the inventory.

Just like the majority that spoke out against WiS and wanted iteration, this game is about internet spaceships for me and not the SIMS. You won't get much of a response here like then, most players don't know about this thread while back when all this took place it was apparent what the majority wanted as they came to forums to speak out. Even then it wasn't heard until subs started hemorrhaging including mine.

WiS will get worked on again, everyone knows that, just like CCP will start to push WoD which both games will move forward with bi-pod play and the coding of it. But for now, all the tears for WiS are pointless, until iteration is complete. Though the CQ thread jokes are funny as hell.

But bleh to WiS, I rather look forward to a PC version of DUST, I like shooters, even play the cult classics. But even that I prefer after iteration, not worried it's console only as it stands.

Edit: Avatar Spinning?? Sounds sort of like porno. ...and the CQ needs an ice chest full of beer btw.

I'm in it for the money

Ship spinning because it loads faster.

I have to thank the OP for taking the incentive to dispel the old "no one uses CQ" argument the Incarna haters spout all the time.

So far I count a 2-1 ratio in favour of CQ/WiS. With just as many people saying they use both or neither as their are ship spinners.
