EVE Online: Inferno 1.3 Feedback

EVE Online: Inferno 1.3 has been deployed successfully.

This latest update brings numerous graphical fixes and continues to build a solid framework for the future integration of DUST 514 into the EVE Online universe. With Inferno 1.3 we see the introduction of the first planetary district graphics, planetary district satellites and an improved EVE chat.

Why is the TIMESTAMP feature an overall setting? I would prefer it as an setting for each separate chat window. My intel channels would be great with TIMESTAMPS. But the HELP channel has then timestamps to... not needed at all! What?

No fix for the UI then. Cheers. I still have cargo holds, Ore Holds, Corp Holds and various other holds opening where ever they like and it is still a HUGE pain in the arse.

I hate to say it, but nice "weekly inventory updates until it is fixed" that you don't have in there....

Nice job guys. I only have one question. I was a bit sad when I looked at the new infantry equipment on the market and discovered that there was no 3D preview of the items and vehicles like we have for our ships and guns in EVE. Is there any possibility that your planning to implement that in the future? It would be great for those of us who lack a PlayStation, and thus can't play Dust 514, to still be able to ogle at the amazing creations from the CCP art department P

Anyway, keep up the great work o/

Such as D1.Co1.Sy1.St1.C1.
I assume this is the districts you added on temperate planets, but ehm. Couldn't you, well... have made this more informative as to which planet it refers to and such?

First off great job guys looks pretty good, defo liking the warping around on the planet districts! I had a little suggestion, though i dont know how complicated this would be to implement. I noticed that sometimes when warping to districts which are on the other side of the planet you actually warp through the planet, which is cool but kinda weird. I was thinking if at all possible to use the satellites above districts as waypoints. In other words instead of warping through the planet which is the shortest route, you would actually warp around the planet instead. For example if im at District 1 and want to get to District 4 which is on the other side i warp from 1 to 4 directly through the planet. But with waypoints I will have a continuous warp around the planet from D1 through D2 and D3 to D4. Would be kinda cool as well if you are at D1 and choose to warp to the same location, you would just do an entire orbit around the planet!

Might be because you can only warp in a straight line?

after patch within a station there are no lines in starmap and a black PlanetIneraction window.Sad
Outside a station its o.k.
i have a ATI HD6850.
Clearing the cache don`t help.

What can i do now?

Order all the items in "Infantry gear->Augmentations" by length/duration rather than sorting by name.

I do realize that you can only warp in a straight line, hence the warping through planets, however i was wondering if it would be an easy or a really complicated issues to somehow use the new satellites to either re-orientate the direction of your warp to allow you to go around the planet, or failing that act like an automatic 'acceleration' gate which will send to you to the next district, but that would require you to come out of warp and align before moving onto the next one. Its not really a major issue, but thought it would be kinda of cool seeing as CCP is asking for some feedback and ideas about the new patch .

No Inventory updates :(

It's always a pain to work with the unif. inventory also windows dont save there position.

- moving windows arround is a pain (did not work proberly -> move a window on top of the screen (Argl!))
- workflow not fixed
- inventory uses up to 30% more space then the old one on screen (should it not "less space"???)

Inventory is not an shiny project from CCP (and i hate it)

when will you make is so we can pin windows again..? they randomly move around and its anoying you removed a feature, said you would reintroduce it and then forgot about it all together
