Transferring Characters around

Hey folks. Just wondering about transferring characters around. I find a lot of pages saying that you cannot transfer a character from an inactive account. Makes sense. Can you transfer a character TO an inactive account?

I have an account that's been inactive for a few months and I wanted to purchase a char, have him transferred to the inactive account, and then activate the account when I need him.

Not sure if this is possible

I would think so, as you can do the "hours for PLEX" it might work right?

As far as I am aware, you would need to have the account activated, and for more than the four hours that the "Hours for PLEX" provides. I will however grab someone from CCP and double check this for you.

You are welcome. And I have just conferred with GM Pyro who has confirmed my initial thought that a character transfer takes 10 hours, and can only be completed using an active account. Perhaps not the news you were hoping for, but at least now you know where you stand on the matter. Smile
