Out of Pod Experience

At the 2016 Olympic Games, Runner A complained that Runner B was too fast. The Olympic officials secured a sharp knife and a saw and cut the legs off Runner B.

Runner A of course, won the race. Runner B complained bitterly and asked for Runner A's legs to be cut off too.

Just before the 2020 Olympic Games, Runner B won his case in the Olympic Court and Runner A had his legs removed prior to the race. At the games, the race was close but Runner B won because he had learned to use his arms better (well he had 4 years to practise!)

Runner A again complained so the officials cut off Runner B's arms. The cycle continued. Much bickering, fighting and arguing ensued to make sure nobody had any advantage ever.

By the time the 2032 games came around, 2 hair folicles were at the start line. Just before the gun went off for the event of the decade, an Olympic official arrived with a razor.

At the 2036 Olympic Games, no-one came because there was nothing to see. By 2040, the grass field, where people once rejoiced and athletes battled it out, was no more than a vacant lot.

In 2088, Tic-Tac-Toe became the first event in the newly formed Future Olympics.


TL;DR Nerf nerfing or lose the main event and have it substituted for a board game.

Once upon a time in the land of nerfdom there were three little piggies. On one fine sunny day the three little piggies moooved out of their parents dark and dreary basement to buy a plot of land and build their dream homes upon the warm fertile soil.

The first little piggy built his house out of lemon cupcakes and vanilla frosting.
But the big bad dev wolf pummeled it all down with his nerf bat.
The first little piggy ragequit.

The second little piggy built his house out of lime jello and coconut sprinkles.
But the big bad dev wolf pummeled it all down with his nerf bat.

The third little piggy saw what happen to his brotha's, so he devised a plan to build the most disgusting and pointless house so the big bad dev wolf will just leave him alone! So he built his house out of cow patties, snake puke, dead rotting roadkill and slime from the deep dank pits of the sewer. He squeezed his plump little body through the decrepit front door and plopped himself down in the middle of the rotting house were sludge dripped from the ceiling down onto his pink wet little snout.
But the big bad dev wolf pummeled it all down with his nerf bat.
The third little piggy ragequit.

Moral of the story: there is none, it's pointless, enjoy it while you can.
