Ship Spinning, why would anyone wander slowing in a poorly interactive room with nothing but myself. Its like being single but without any access to ****. Totally and utterly unsatisfying :P

Not quite true. There's a dev blog somewhere explaining how to add custom content to your wall screen. Enjoy.Big smile

I accidentally had to enter the CQ when they added the new test servers and I didn't have any settings for them. That was probably the first time sinceā€¦ oh I don't even remember. Probably the day the non-Minmatar CQs were released on Sisi.

I can happily say of myself that i am not such a person that would categorize himself in ways like this ...

I'm really curious and would have liked to put a poll in here, but I dont think polls are possible on these forums (btw, only forums i've ever been on that didnt have polls, but i understand we would abuse the **** out of them). Please don't bring your WiS sucks arguments in here. This thread is really just to get a sense of what people are using.

Which are you?

Ship Spinning?

or

Walking around in your Captain's Quarters?

Me?

Ship Spinning FTW!!!!

You chose what that ******* spinning instead of walking in stations. There are several reasons.
First, you can not or do not want to buy a computer that will pull all the things that will be possible soon.
Second, you are entering into a group of like-minded people or companies who violently reject what they want other people
unnecessary, stupid spinning, of whom you so that you are screaming get away! Spit on spinning. Walking on the stations - a movement forward.
Third, priests have nothing to do and you inflate the theme!
Developers went on got into the habit you have, those who yelled. I for example do not use spinning, I'm in my CQ, so nice, cozy, and to your ship in space and I shall behold, there spinning the sea!
I know plenty of people playing EVE. Most of them waiting for Incarna, but not those who have weak computers, but the yard is 21.
Change it to what that spinning is stupid.

Sorry, just boiling! Was silent on the matter.

I for Incarna! spinning unnecessary, but the hangar steep as in the last video, this is very necessary.

Sorry for bad english.

The load on the system? why for the sake of other games improve gaming PC, but for the sake of your favorite games can not. And this is the part of the people is very small, and the others do not hear, because they do not whine. But those that Troll spinig necessary, the developers are listening. This is a mistake.

"Load station environments" is turned off on one machine simply because it's an old iMac using a X1600 graphics chipset. It can't do station spinning or CQ without melting.

I have ship spinning turned on for two other computers, only because they will melt under the load of CQ. Of course CQ has ship spinning built in: the ship and the little hologram of the ship spin themselves for your entertainment.

Dude, I have no idea what any of that means.

It's not that my system can't handle it... it just lags other stuff as a result. Also: I don't care about WiS in it's current form. What.... walk around a single room? Got it. I've seen the couch. I've seen the TV. That's great. There's no point. If I'm changing out ship fittings or market orders I want things snappy. Why bother w/ WiS? There's nothing going on in there. No Minmatar slave strippers, no parties... hell I don't even have a fridge. Just some food that's probably rotting on the random ledge or table that I can't pick up anyway.

I have CQ enabled on both monitors, I keep it enabled because 1. I like it, and 2. because I tell myself that by keeping it enabled it sends a message to CCP that some of us want WiS. (Whether they notice or not is another matter but I do it all the same lol)

I really don't understand how so many people seem to have so many technical issues with CQ, I'm able to run two instances of it on one PC, both on max settings with no problem and a consistently high frame rate, and most of my PC is nearly three years old now.. Maybe I'm just lucky..

I'd love to be able to use the CQ, but sadly my laptop is complete pants and isn't able to run it at the level of detail that makes me want to do so. Fingers crossed an upgrade will in the works after Christmas, then it's back to full quality glorious CQ.

You and a few others, you are invisible to anything. But for others, it's cool, it's the future of the game. Due to the fact that few whining, developers postponed Incarna, possibly because of this. It was crappy to look at how that screaming CQ this misery and that the avatars do not need. Dude. Like spin? continue spins. What will you do if introduce new docks? will scream that they also do not need?

You can always tell the dudes that make female toons. Are your **** big enough?

Anyway, I always thought ship-spinning was some inside joke because of its low-tech nature. If CCP remakes the hangers so we can see people next to big ships then **** ship-spinning. Then again this whole tread is BS cuz we can have both SS and WiS so everyone is happy.

CCP wish list: show damage on ships and open that door!
