Maybe fix the overview instead of working on clothing graphics?

So I saw the new patch today, how about instead of working on things like graphics for the in station environment that literally nobody uses, you fix the bugged out overview? I'm sure I'm harping on a topic that's been discussed before, but seriously, don't you think the main interface for dealing with objects in space is a little more important than the female Achura's bra strap?

I, too, totally want 3D model designers working on UI/networking stuff. I'm sure the results would be entertaining.

I am sure if you read any of the previous threads on this subject instead of making a new one you would know that different departments and teams have different specialties and projects to work on. It is also not your place to tell the game designers how to run their business.

Literally as in real and literal, as in absolutely nobody uses station graphics.
Aside from nearly everyone who lurks these forums.

Actually, as paying subscribers, it is our job to tell the devs their business. We are the end consumer, and if we feel the product that we pay for isn't up to scratch it is our responsibility to **** and moan about it. And for one, I agree that I'm sick of all this Dust/Incarna/NeX bullshit when there is other serious stuff in Eve that needs fixing. Eve is about internet spaceships, everything else is fluff.

Negative. Space barbies and incomplete CQ take precident over actual space combat which the game is based on. Everyone knows that Dustbunnies need to have the graphics for their red dresses correct before they get to play too. Overviews be damned! Fail speed ahead!

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Feedback from the customer affects what each team handles first, but one does not simply turn model designers into UI developers just because the UI developers have a bigger backlog of things to do.

For example, the community clamoring about bugs in how BBCode works on the forum means the web developers need to look at that before they look at, say, adding neat notification menus and options. It does not make sense to say "why are new clothes being released when forums are broken?" because the people who design and release the clothes cannot and should not be coding the forums since they probably have no expertise in that area.

Love, a developer who's been faced with this in the past. <3

Well, I see that a lot of people has show that you don't ask your tailor to fix your car, even if you are late for the weding and the limousine is not working, and he already finished your suit....

So not true. I could fix your suit, car, computer an endless amount of things. I don't like to get dirty so it might be cheaper to go to a "professional".

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

Why would CCP work on something that would actually have some functionality instead of making our WiS avatars that hardly anyone sees except noobs who don't know any different?

FC, what do?

This "hardly anyone uses WiS" bull **** is starting to get on my nerves.

As it stands the people saying this seem to be largely outvoted on the forums, and that's without the massive unrepresented masses of highsec who don't even look at the forums.

Seriously. If your going to say something at least put some effort into thinking about whether it's true or not. Because otherwise you might as well not bother posting. Your a whining minority, and your not even whining about something that adversely affects you. Grow up, and use your damn brains.

Good analogy.

OP would also need to explain, in the context of the analogy, why the tailor should be prevented from delivering said suit if the limo wasn't ready.

Be careful in Pulsar systems, you might get Pod Flu.

False. Eve is about internet space simulations. That includes "fluff" like walking around in stations.

No, customers give suggestions, companies can do as they please, keep in mind person(s) owns the company, it is their property to do with as they please.

My overview tabs tend to "clone" into eachother. Sometimes, my overview randomly deletes things that I want it to display, whilst adding in things I don't care about. It's been doing this for years. vOv

I think they should streamline the Overview. In fact, I will devise a system tonight.

And boom goes the dynamite.
