Hi guys,
I've just noticed in my applications folder that I have the following: An Eve icon- This is what I use to log on to and start up Eve. I also have numerous EVE white boxes labelled "Eve alias 1, 2, 3,4 and 5" And I also have another white box perched between my docs and applications folder marked "Eve online."
I'm fairly new to mac, so I have no idea if this is usual or not.

No, this is not normal. Somehow you've made aliases to your original client. I had to do a little searching because I never bother with them. I only use symlinks from the command line.

So, you did one of the following:

1. Chose "Make Alias" from the file menu
2. Used the keyboard shortcut cmd+M
3. Used the contextual menu command "Make Alias"
4. Held down cmd+option and dragged a copy somewhere

Keep the original and delete the rest.

The white box thingy is the downloaded image, which can also be deleted. However, make sure you have the eve client in your applications folder.

If you dont have it there, drag it there from the white box. You'll notice a performance increase then too.

After you made sure the client is in applications drag the white box to the trash, then locate the installer/download and remove that too.
