We can go 2 ways here.

Firstly CCP has implemented a patch that can take some days to sort like the good old days of patching and considering from what I hear its got Dust bits in it it can take some time. So we have to agree and be patient and go outside and look at the brilliant blue sky and smell the onset in the air of winter.Big smileBig smileBig smileBig smileBig smileBig smileBig smile

Second.....
OR WE CAN DO THIS..

CCP when are you going to sort this damm patch out as its ticking us off that you dont know that this is going to happen when you install the updates. You got SISI you know ffs. also thanks for messing up my petition as usual and so on and so on.EvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvil

Basically leave them alone and let them get this patch sorted and we will all woohoo when it comes back onlineShockedShockedShockedShocked

I just cannot imagine that some of you have nothing else to do. It just doesn't compute. Some of you foaming at the mouth, watching your computer screen over and over again where it states, over and over again that EVE doesn't work for now. Angry that you, like everybody else, cannot access the EVE universe.

Come on! You got to have something else better to do. If nothing else go exercise, it's healthy you know? P

I'm reading this thread, thinking "man, I wish some of these personal attack posts weren't here" and *BOOM* "We were ganked" message. I go back a page and suddenly there are fewer pages in the thread. GET OUT OF MY HEAD, MODERATOR, OR SO HELP ME I'LL DO MYSELF AN INJURY!

Now I'm thinking if I read CCP state one more time that they "expected unexpected issues" my prefrontal cortext will reach around and ***** slap my ocular center.

(Sorry, I've got "brain in a box" thoughts leftover from another thread...)

Edit: Really? "*****" seems like a fairly mild invective to have automatically censored.

Off topic and non-constructive posts removed.

We understand that some of you are unhappy about the downtime extensions multiple times and the question why the deployment schedule cannot be kept more precise is not invalid at all.

The last dozen or so patches we were pretty much always on schedule and while having accurate deployment schedules is of course one of our goals, we expected to run into at least one or the other issue with this patch as we are currently doing some massive changes to our back-end - the patch notes reflect these changes only to a small degree.

It is a general a question to give out a schedule as best as possible or to add just a couple hours buffer time additional to the predicted downtime "just in case". There are good arguments for both practice, we decided to always give you a precise schedule as possible.

It's all well and good saying that, but certain people can only play during certain hours of the day or even certain hours of the week, and if that coincides with another CCP deployment screw up, that's them done for the day/week and you can't blame them ones for being annoyed. I don't even think this one was announced, although I could be wrong on that.

They should stop subscription from ticking when this happens though. My main has just expired out of sheer chance as I was going to plex him today. I was posting with him a few minutes ago so the subscription is obviously ticking. Now I'll have to use Hours for Plex when TQ does get back online.

Maybe you should work on how you calculate these schedules.

After you have TQ up and running, of course.

Now that would be a welcomed feature : a harem of exotic dancers performing in my captain's quarters.

Oh, sorry, this is patch extension thread ....

Is this to much to ask? Perhaps if you didn't base out of the ass end of nowhere, u'd have real techs working for u, not beer infested idiots who cant seem to do anything right!

I.e move to a real country, fire your entire staff and hire qualified techs

Why so mad bro?

No need to be a jerk to the devs.... They're working as hard as they can and are doing a great job.

I recommend you go relax.

Deep breaths and soon our beloved EVE will be back.

If that is the case, i expect the server to online in what? 24 hours? I think thats a fair estimate.

While this is one of the few occasions I will side with CCP and say this is obviously a very complicated change so I think extended extended downtimes is fairly understandable, I think had it not been such a ninja announcement with such short notice people might have been more forgiving.

Be grateful.

It astounds me that something as simple as this makes you angry. You had really better get a physical before you drop dead of some stress related disease. Chill out, seriously.

Compared to when I first played Eve, the downtimes and patch delays are really nothing worth moaning about.

This stability/reliability is, in my opinion, one of the greatest improvements in Eve in my five years playing the game.

This is not a signature.
