Marauders need a change.

Now that the Noctis is here wouldn't it be a good idea to change the bonuses or high slots on Marauders. As it is i don't salvage as i go anymore, i use my Noctis. Maybe change tractor beam bonus to transfer bonus making marauders better for fleet ops.
Or maybe lose a few high slots for meds and lows.

Not everyone has a Noctus Alt or wants to Warp back to the Station and get the damn thing.

Nah. It still does the exact same thing it did before: it lets you collect and loot/salvage choice wrecks while you stomp through the mission without having to go back in a different ship at a later time. This improves earnings without losing out on mission completion time.

OP is right; Noctis makes Marauder salvaging pointless.

Marauders should lose their tractor bonus in exchange for having 8 hi slots and being able to fill all of those with pewpew while retaining the role damage bonus.

…if you like to waste money by killing everything and then (optionally) going back and salvaging anything — i.e. if you're doing it wrong. The Marauder does the same thing it always did, and the Noctis does not really affect that (well, aside from reducing salvage prices, which I suppose makes salvaging in a Marauder pointless because the additional income becomes so small).

IIRC the point at which the Noctis (operating at the same time as and in parallel to a gang of mission completing ships) could first be said to obsolete Marauders in terms of ISK generation is in a gang of seven - where the other six members are in very high DPS ships.
Given that thet gang configuration is, in itself, rarely optimal, the more utilitarian benefits of the Marauders come into their own more frequently than you may believe...

Though the Noctis is at least unlikely to shoot its own wrecks as it attempts to redirect its primary firepower while simultaneously salvaging What?
