Seeing as the team captain can apparently add any character they wish to the team as long as they have an active subscription, will there be a confirmation mail sent where you get to accept being put on a team? Otherwise there is nothing preventing maliciously blocking a char from entering the tournament with another team.

On a related note, is there a way to delete a team that you have entered? If not, can someone remove the one I made while testing this potential char-bloccking mechanic?

Yep I also see this as a problem,

You can pretty much add anyone you want to your team, and they do not know they have been added. This is so open to abuse.

A mail should be sent out and they should only be properly added after they have confirmed.

I filed a petition as well, but if anyone has a direct link to someone responsible, it would be better if they got this closed before getting out of hand. It would be trivial to block say, all the chars that participated in the top four teams from ATX. Not that I tried anything of the sort...

Also, sorry if I created extra work for you. I though I could do the test to confirm my suspicion and then just delete the team, but I can't seem to find that option anywhere. Please don't ban me.

The whole sign-up process needs some tightening up.

1) Team creation should be confirmed after initial team members are added, especially since there's not any obvious "delete entire team" options. Allow draft roster and a confirm button, which will make things a bit more intuitive

2) Failing a create/confirm paradigm, have some sort of "save" feature for the team. Although in the end the minimalist input features are sufficent, with neither character confirmation (can we get their portrait and maybe alliance affiliation and a "confirm this is the character you want" dialogue?) or team creation confirmation after entering a team name it's a bit unnerving at first

3) Agreed to the above, I strongly suggest confirmatory e-mails or at the VERY least a notification enabling you to opt out.

Surprised that signups were delayed and then the functionality was still so minimal. Wrong intern got the coding job for this I guess?
