Ok, say my "Retribution" for Goonfleet thread was shut down.

For what?

What exactly are the rules on these boards?

There were no insults, profane words, scam links, death threats, sexual innuendos or anything overtly provocative in the thread. It was a fun thread to stir up some in game drama pertaining to an event in game, so it was on topic.

What exactly is the criteria for threads being shutdown??? I mean why bother even posting threads if we don't even know what triggers a lock?? This was a big deal, it was a buildup to the LARGEST and most powerful corporation/Alliance in game being shutdown. It was harmless. I mean seriously like, wtf dude???

WHy do ISDs just shutdown threads for no reason??? Is there a 3rd party forum EvE players can use, because I'm very tired of these people, and I'm not putting in some stupid petition that wont be answered anyway (or hopefully not. I'd hope CCP has more pressing business than forum issues,given the amount of things that need fixing in game).

People make a joke thread about ISDs, you shut that down.
People make legit posts criticizing CCP/EVE, you shut that down.
People make threads about in game politics, you shut that down.

So then wtf can we post about??? Other than "that avatar above you" threads??? Serious question.

It was "Suvetar" who shut it down, so I'd really like her to explain the reason for this. Because I claimed to be trolling, if you took the time to actually READ it in context, you'd see I was being sarcastic. I mean seriously wtf???

What the hell is up with you guys man??? We try to have a little fun and you shut it down??? What rule did I break?? Or is your character in Goonswarm??? Be upfront here.

The move for the mass over haul, the reason behind it is not widely known

On SEVERAL KEY MMO sites that relate qualities about MMOS

EvE Online's forums were voted the worst in MMO history, even wow forums are cleaner and more polite than these, i know, because i play it.

EvE Onlines ingame play was voted *boring, repetitive, pointless and a grind worse than wow*

The pvp on mmoporg was voted *unless you have ten friends with you, dont bother*

The pve was stated as *hours and hours of grind for no real gain*

And the market was labelled as *over priced, run by huge alliances with hardly any npc seeded items*

And this was the best, the insurance for ships was stated as *an effin joke, buy a ship for 60mil isk, fit for 40mil isk, get blown up and get 30mil back*

CCP does not realise that EVEN PC GAMER, the no1 gaming mag in the world, has slammed eve as a shite mmo.

This *overhaul* on eve's game play and forums is ccps way of combating that

They lock this thread and I'm uninstalling EVE and they can kiss my ass goodbye. Don't care if it's only one person leaving, I'm not giving my money to a company that censors it's customers simply for wanting to have some fun, breaking NO RULES, because they want to hire these emotional ass, sensitive people to "monitor" the forums. Ridiculous dude, my thread was completely harmless.

As I said, I'm thinking she's in Goonswarm, which if thats the case, that's BS as well.

GS are censored because they have single handedly with test screwed null sec, the damage to the economy by burn jita was massive

What do u expect? They were gonna do nothing?

And does a bad job at it as I've seen threads locked for reasons that did not exist within the thread :P

I mean its supposed to be a SANDBOX right??? I was just trying to add some spice to the community, add some drama, etc. It's still going to happen but my role in it will be minimal, which is fine. I was just the strategist anyway. The thread was just a way to get the community involved, add some suspense, yadda yadda. Get some juices flowing, ppl talking. Why shut it down??? what was wrong with it???

All they've done is **** the me the hell off, but they've also shown how weak they are if they have to tap ISDs to protect them....on the forums anyway. Suvetar can't do a damn thing to stop what's planned in game. In fact she just insured that it's severity went up.

All they've done is **** the me the hell off, but they've also shown how weak they are if they have to tap ISDs to protect them....on the forums anyway. Suvetar can't do a damn thing to stop what's planned in game. In fact she just insured that it's severity went up.


The issue is that CCP will NOT admit they have lost control of eve, the large alliances are killing null sec, the grifer corps have killed mining by 50% leading to inflated prices to match supply and demand. thousands have quit, hello kitty online, ogame etc have more players than this mmo.

The fact of the matter is that *rl skill training* will be the screw and death of eve, because people are tired of having **** blown up because they didnt train the 40 day skill to fly the better ship
