Can I disable the splash graphic?

It is always on top so you can't click on anything behind it (minimize or close the launcher) while it's there.

After one of the patches it stopped showing up and that was great but now it's back and it is rather annoying. Is there a way to disable this splash graphic that pops up when you click on play in the launcher? Windows 7.

Click the settings icon in the Launcher, go to the Startup tab and check both options there.

You can run the launcher independently from the game -- just go to your EVE directory and look for 'EVE Online Launcher'.

I have the same problem as OP, and it seems that solution You gave is no solution at all.

I have both options seleected (only start launcher at patch and close after staring eve) but the problem we have is THE SPLASH SCREEN not the launcher.

If both these options are checked then the splash screen should appear only very briefly, in fact on a fast computer you will barely see it, if at all.

I have 2 year old computer. It shows for like 10+ seconds, blocking anything under it.

Yes. The launcher appears ever so briefly I wouldn't know what it was if I didn't just click on eve Big smile

While it wasn't precisely what I was asking as I don't mind the launcher itself it solves my problem in a different way. Thanks.
