Can someone give me a good PVE fit for a Brutix? i'm running L2/L3's and I just need a good fit for it - still reasonably new to the game.

1) I don't have the money to afford Myrmidon so please, don't tell me to buy a myrmidon - that's why i'm using brutix at the moment to grind L3's.
2) I don't have the money for tier 2 stuff so low level stuff would be appreciated.
3) Don't need advice on anything else - just A FIT.

Seriously if you are that tight on isk (the ships are like 12mil different in price) you probably shouldn't be flying either. You can literally get away without any guns on a myrmidon (and still run missions better) which saves you isk.

Did not notice how new you were. Given your age I would honestly say neither. Rushing into a bigger ship before you are ready is not the best choice. Bigger does not alway mean better in EVE, if you cannot fly it effectively. Yes it can be a little frustrating at first, but patience pays off in EVE.

Be careful about flying ships that stretch your budget. Being able to afford a Brutix but not a Myrmidon kind of implies you may be breaking the first rule of EVE - don't fly what you can't afford to lose.

Change out the hardeners for mission specific ones, and have light drones to get the frigs off your ass, because your guns won't track them.

EDIT: If you don't have the skills for either, or if this won't fit, you could downgrade to tech 1 stuff and/or remove the AB or downgrade the guns, but I suggest taking it as a sign that you should train for a few days.

I've seen a few posts and many people who have the same advice said to them "get a myrmidon". I understand, myrms are better - I'll get one soon.

If you aren't new to the game, then you should already know the pitfalls of flying ships you can't afford or ships you are not properly skilled for.

If all you need is 3-4 mil, you can grind that faster just using a vexor and saving all the isk you would have spent on a brutix.
