POS hanger permisions question

Question

Ok here goes I have Jim that I want to be able to have POS hangar access to 4 out of the 7 hangars because he is doing WH but I want to know if there is a way to have Jim not have access to 3 of those 4 hangars in our Station corp offices. Is this posible?


very new at this and access is a little confusing to me.

Yes this is the difference between:

Hangar Access (Headquarters)
Hangar Access (Based At)
Hanger Access (Other)

The other option is for POSes and ship corp hangers (like on orcas or carriers)

the Based At one is for the office they are specifically based at (this is set by a director or CEO)

the HQ is the HQ office

As always, create an alt and verify with the alt that the permissions that you're using do indeed do what you think they do and don't let you do things that shouldn't be done.

Ya if I wasn't clear enough in what I said or if I actually turned out to be wrong, a bit of trial and error with an alt can ensure you understand it.

so have a pilot in corp and trying to assign him a title we made to test it out and he showes up in membe list but not role managment list. Why is this happening. Had to assign via member list by righ clicking name etc but still after title given does not show up in list
