lv 4 missions drone killing

im doing level 4 missions, and one of the missions is a bunch of drones i have to get through, i got pretty damn good drone skills (pretty much maxxed) but these npc drones ARE DESTORYING my drones fast...

i tried using warrior 2s and hobgoblin 2s

are these npc drones just gonna **** the crap out of mine?

Some of the rogue drone missions seem to swap aggro. You just need to keep an eye on things and recall your drones if they start taking damage.

Which mission? Which ship are you using and what are you using your drones to do?

im doing the mission The Anomaly part 3

i tried using the Myrmidon and i tried using raven, but they destroyed my drones easy

i was usingm y drones to attack the rogue drones while i was shooting the bigger ships

Blitz: Use an afterburner to make your way to the rogue drone ship and drop Fajah Ateshi into the can which completes the mission, no drones have to be killed.

Unless they've changed that mission, you need to kill at least the two drone battlecruisers in the first room to unlock the acceleration gate. In the second room you don't have to kill anything as long as you can reach the ship; you might have to kill a tackler. I've done it in both a Tengu and a Vagabond. The Tengu does the first room faster, but the Vaga covers the distance so fast it's quicker overall.

PVP is a question with no single right answer, but a lot of wrong ones.

If you're not going to blitz it (and I'd second the suggestion; that mission chain is just bleh) then the key phrase from eve-survival is this:

Plug that in to your EVE to English translator and you basically get this: When you warp in, 2 drone battleships will start to attack you. Also in the room are a total of 2 BCs, 5 cruisers, and 4 frigates. If you deploy drones before you get redboxed by all of these, they will shoot your drones.

And no, not every L4 works this way. Lots of them seem to more or less ignore drones (Serpentis Blockade comes to mind, where you can just let the little guys out during the first wave and not recall them until the very last respawn). Others will go catastrophically **** up if you deploy drones and don't know what you're doing (Worlds Collide, which can draw full room agro to the ship if drones are used). But yes, some mission rats have a proclivity to shoot your drones. This is one of them.
