The new bounty system opens up quite interesting possibilities for gankers and sympathizers of the latter.

People who already heard the calling or had a similar Idea will know.

If you support ganking then you can do something for your nearby ganker. You got some pocket money spare? Good - just stop by the nearest Ice belt in your area and put bounties on Ice miners - it really does not matter on whom because soon I predict plenty of miners flying around with bounties on their heads...
First of all...not everyone wants to risk security status hit but nearly everyone wants to see afk mining punished as it is supposed to be - by the loss of the ship. So now people that do not have the ability to gank by them selves, people that want to have exclusive places to mine and the financial back ground - hell everyone can help solving the problem by putting bounties on the miners heads.

Ganking can flourish once again as our dear gankers can afford new setups with the money they earn by killing your potential opponent.

I am sure there are trusted entities with enough financial background and network to transport this message even further and beyond the icebelts of Kamio and Kino....

Let the games begin...

If you make it profitable to gank barges, they'll just get another HP buff.

Who put the goat in there?

Is it still called a gank if concord isnt involved?

Question.

Are you deliberately trying to be stupid? Or are you oblivious to your own stupidity?

You can not just put a bounty on someone then blow them up and receive a portion of the bounty. That is not how its going to work.

1 of 2 things need to happen to qualify for a portion of the bounty.

1: Person with bounty agro's you, He then has a criminal flag. Allowing you a portion of the bounty if you destroy his vessel.

2: Person with bounty has killrights on him, You purchase said rights thus making you eligible to receive a portion of his bounty upon destruction.

That is all. You will be wasting your isk if you go down your path. Most of the Icer's are bots anyway. What makes you think they will ever be put in a situation where they agro you? They will never agro anything other than a roid.

Concord will be involved and kill the ganker afterwards of course.

Everyone will be able to place bounties on EVERYONE with no exeption. Everyone will be able to collect the bounties...even if he dies from Concorde in the process.
1.) I suicide gank them with some friends and do never care if somebody aggros me in general...
2.) I do not need rights to kill somebody; I do not expect them to aggro me at all.

Tl;dr: Read the dev blog and think about it ;-)

This will indeed work the way you described. Kinda
