After much begging and pleading, Zapawork couldn't stand watching me embarrass myself anymore and has allowed me to assist with planning next year's Eve Vegas. :)

What I'd like to ask everyone, while things are still fresh in your mind, what did you think?
What did you like? What could be better? We have some awesome ideas for next year but we want your input too. Eve Vegas is run by players, for players so give us some feedback. :)

I'll watch this thread but if you want to be certain your input is seen, send me a mail: barondaniellightft at gmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I had an amazing time at EVE Vegas. You should all really try to make it next year.

I preferred the developer talks over the people talks, but overall the content was good and the events great. :) Next time you may want to mention that there's a dress code for the final bar on Friday. ;)

My only complaint is the length of talks on Saturday, though that is partially due to the fun and late night we had on Friday. A few more short breaks for a long day would be great.

I'll definitely be attending next year's event! Meeting folks we play with (and sometimes run across) is a great opportunity. I even met some folks whom I knew (some more than others) in RL 10 years ago and didn't know they played.

We are already looking to adjust the schedule so that there will be more breaks availabe. :) There wereso many great presentation submissions it was difficult to thin them down.
Thank you for the input, it is very much appreciated. :)

You should have known that clubs have dress codes, but now you know. Learning what everybody else knows is fun(ny)!

I believe they posted there would be a dress code, and said it throughout the conference.

Also, as previously mentioned its a proper club, what else would be expected?.

I did find myself a bit lost when myself and my wife were two of the 5 people that were there.

While I love presenting, and feel I actually did a decent job this year, I would like to hear more about the black arts of EVE and the rarely discussed concepts that drive them. A lot of the presentations, including my own, were focused on somewhat static metagame concepts, Renting, Sov War, and Propaganda, all well known tenants of the game. While spying is a well known tenant, it is a bit of a black art and EVEskunk presented on it in an interesting manner. Having spying publicly displayed like that was awesome. Pulling things from the black that is EVE's true PVP and shedding some light on them could be excellent fun for presenters as well as the audience.

Not to mention it would be substantially harder for me to come up with a presentation and that could save the audience as well!
