For some time now I have been curious about CCP and how they manage resources. By most standards they are a great deal more transparent than any other MMO developer I have seen. While this is a good thing I can't help but feel that CCP is not reaching it's true potential. If CCP was a hardware component in a computer I would say it was being bottle-necked somehow.

EvE is an amazing and immersive game play experience to say nothing of the tremendous effort put into the game world by players and developers alike. Something could be said about the rate at which CCP develops though and how much time or resources get tied up in a particular development cycle. This brings me to a list of questions that hopefully a dev or somebody in the know will be able to answer.


Question 1:
How much money (or employees) would CCP need to increase the rate of development (without loss of quality) by 2 times it's current rate overall?

Question 2:
If resources like money were without limit for CCP how many more people would CCP hire and where would they allocate these new people?

Question 3:
Does CCP accept conditional donations? (Donations that can only be used to hire and pay for more people or be used to pay current people more)

This would imply that CCP would spend on extra revenue on Eve. Which history has shown us they won't.
