It seems that whine threads are much too prevalent on the forums right now and it seems to be turning many people off. So what Im suggesting to make them more palatable, Cheese pairings.

Everyone knows that a good cheese can perk up your wine tasting experience. What Cheeses do you fellow Capsuleers suggest for certain types of whine threads?

For Minerwhine, I suggest a Baby Swiss for optimal reading experience.
For Misslenerfwhine, may I interest you in a fine smoked Gouda?
For IRagequitEvewhine, the perfect compliment would be a fantastic Camembert.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Your OP is full of holes and smells. But, hey, let's milk it for all it's worth.

Went to the Mars Cheese Castle this summer. About an 8 hour drive. Bought some cheese $18 a wedge. Talk about some kickass grill cheese.

You drove 700+ kms to get cheese and you complain about the price of the CHEESE! Shocked

I'm always a fan of a good portwine cheese. Very good stuff.

Evansdale cheese with a good Cabernet Sauvignon (I'd say 2004 at the latest) is pretty good.

That's about as far as I go with cheese as I'm allergic to mold and the heavier cheeses will make me feel quite ill.

No we were on our way home from summerfest. And I wasn't complaining, it was damn good cheese.

Whine threads?!? I see no whine threads here...
Oh, someone set us up teh bomb, thread moved from the forum-pvp forum.

Swiss by far. White cheddar is good too, but my pref is Swiss cheese. Pepper jack maybe third place. I live just down the road from where they filmed the last episode of ST:TNG in the vineyard scenes, so we take our wine, cheese and random spatial anomalies seriously.

Portwine cheese and related cheese spreads are the suggested accompaniment to Closedsocketwhine.
