I love how the culprit is like it is not our fault it happened, its Blizzard for not finding the bug or stopping it for four hours.

Yeah Blizzard missed a bug, it happens and they should feel bad. know what the best way to absolve yourself of responsibility for this exploit is, reporting it immediately and not telling or making further use of it until you get a response, or just not using it like at all. Just sad that people try to blame everybody else instead of just admitting they did something wrong.

The best part, when he says it is okay because Chinese Farmers are worse. Yes I mugged the guy but other people murder so that is why I should not get into trouble. That is gold.

I would be annoyed if I was killed by a hack even if I didn't lose anything. Best me, kill me, whatever but don't do it by cheating.

Not okay personally with cheating of any kind in online games no matter how minor. I mean if they want to do it, fine but getting your account suspended or nuked for it is the price you pay.

Risk vs Reward.

Similar exploit would get so much more ugly in EVE. CCP would either have to do a rollback or deal with masses of people quitting and years worth of reimbursement petitions bringing all CS operations to a halt.

I just wish they did something like thus on GW2 so they could finally ban all the botters there.

Its amazing the amount of botting in GW2, there are even threads on reddit about armies of botters farming underwater mobs ...

This kind of reminds me of Neal Stephenson's book Reamde. WoW-like game, hacking, Chinese gold farmers, big massacres. An excellent read, in my opinion. Anybody else read it?
