I do not know about about the Kindle, but when it comes to the hassle of entering API keys on a smartphone, it should just be a simple case of accessing the API webpage on your phone and copy/pasting them using the highlight function. That is how I do it on my IPOD Touch Big smile

Kindle wont play eve or eve related apps? Working as intended. Use kindle to read ebooks, you know, those words that tell a story to inspire moving pictures in your mind? You need a life outside Eve. Id suggest you put that kindle to good use and download the entire Honor Harrington series, youll be glad you did.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Yeah Aura should run. You can also try searching Google Play for "EVE" which will bring up some dozen apps. Aura is good though, I like the search and market tools on it.
They should run anyway, Amazon is a branch of Android and I am guessing that they didn't screw it up that much. But these apps run on jellybean as well, and probably down to android 2 even.
Oh and no, evemon won't run, not on any version or branch of android. Any windows or linux app needs to be ported to work, period. Especially evemon, it needs dot net.
