At the risk of actually contributing to this trainwreck of a thread, I should point out that "The Mittani" is a character in the internet spaceship game EVE Online.

"Alexander Gianturco" is a member of the Council of Stellar Management, a player-run lobbyist group given stakeholder status by CCP hf., aiming to improve the aforementioned internet spaceship game for all its players.

If you can't appreciate the difference, I suggest you seek psychiatric assistance.

He loves this game enough that he was willing to put his entire life on hold just to go to CCP's HQ and try to stop the Jita riots. If he didn't like the game, he would have been out in force in the gaming media throwing gas on the fire.

Listen, just because the big bad goonies destroyed your ice miner bot, it doesn't mean they want to destroy the game. In fact, as I'm pointed out several times in this thread, if you love this game, you'd be out destroying and reporting ice miner bots too. They are the cancer that is killing EVE, just like they were the cancer that all but killed Asheron's Call.


You're not making your alliance look any better by reacting like what i would call a primary school kid. I don't mine ice, never had and never will. Nor do i care a tiny bit about what you do in Gallente space. I'm however expressing my opinion based on what i've seen and read. I may be wrong but GOONS aren't really known for being those who are helpful in any possible way. Which isn't bad per se, i merely have my doubts about whether such people representing the community as a whole is a bright idea.

Actually, one can like their own post if you switch to an alt, so he probably has 3 accounts.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't he be banned anyway for exploitation of game mechanics; instructing everyone participating in the Ice ganking fest on how to get ride of Concord so they won't properly do their job?

You need to play more and get a more in depth grip of game mechanics.
Everything the goons do is within the limits and rules of the game and its mechanics. If you do feel this is not the case, feel free to petition one of them and see the GM response.

I'm reading what CCP says about it and I have to disagree. I'm not sure I can report it as it hasn't happened to me; I' not a miner.

Its not an exploit to move Concord around as long as you don't use throwaway alts to do it.

Edit: And it will be nice that this thread can finally die and its amazing amount of dumb can rest in peace.

Oh, and there is a mechanic for punishing those who shoot innocent people in highsec, it is called Concord, and it is very successfully killing every single one of those ships agressing the miners.

You could always take a new tack, with all that money you're making mining, buy your own gank ships and get the first shot in :)

Or mine something else, somewhere else.

Or do some missions.

Or join whoever-is-fighting-goons in nullsec and either mine there, and help invade goon territory.

Or try FW

Or Incursions

Or ninja salvage all those goon wrecks being generated

Or move into a WH and mine/rat there

Or try market speculation

Or try highsec warfare

Or take a break and go sightseeing (the EVE gate is a dissappointment, but the shattered planets are epic)

Or read all the Eve Chronicles and books

Or try to collect one of every item in the whole of eve

Or infiltrate another corp and run off with their stuff one day

Or find something entirely new and unexpected to do :)

Oh god help us! Someone is playing the game the way they want to and holding a position at the same time! The game is going to be destroyed because someone is representing the views of a good 33% of the game and not my own personal interests exactly as I believe they should!

Lastly, we're all going to die because I didn't find and ****-up this thread sooner.

Ok, this is a game. But there is a limit. Once it is crossed, it just becomes distasetful.

Look at this quote, for example:

They do that to elicit a response from people such as yourself. If you can't appreciate the irony then just ignore it. I for one find it hilarious, and like most Goons am not a Stalinst/fascist/rascist etc. And yes for the record, CCP would love to take their money.
