Eve Online: Retribution Trailer?

I was hoping to get a blue response on when or if we might see a Retribution trailer. I like many others thoroughly enjoy the Eve trailers as they are some of the best game trailers I have ever seen in my 12 years of internet gaming. Any information relating to a possible date would be appreciated.

If CCP history says anything we wont see a trailer until just before or right after the release of the expansion

I really hope we get the trailer BEFORE we get the actual expansion. During the Inferno Expansion I remember getting the trailer AFTER the actual expansion.

I was actually waiting for a video that was supposedly advertising the actual product I already had. Shocked How weird is that?

By the way CCP I love your trailers! Can't wait!

Loved the way the rolled out the First FW expansion I forget which it was. Empyrean Age? With the video and text updates about Thukkers and Republic facing off against Concord in Yulai while they were updating the server. Was great, especially as it was my first major expansion release.

Yeah Ive loved most of the eve trailers and many of the other content related vids in between. I hope this one is as good or better!

My urge to collect useless ships is starting to kick in....


EDIT: BUT! On topic. Kinda hope they release it before the Retribution comes out. Feels weird to be watching for the advertisement of something I'm currently using.

Most of them are pretty awesome, but as much as we'd love to have a shiny new trailer weeks before the expansion hits, we likely ain't gonna get it until just hours before the client update.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I was kind of hoping if we made enough noise about it that we might get it earlier. Wishful thinking I know. -_-

I too am looking forward to the Retribution trailer and hope that CCP will make it an actual trailer and not random bits of gameplay that pass by faster than your eye can see with some wubwub just for show.

Dunno if you've been following the news, but Destroyers are actually pretty mean now.

The main purpose of trailers is to encourage people who aren't already playing to subscribe. Subscriber enjoyment is a bonus.

Just watch the WoW trailer with the sound off and play random audio from fanfest and mix in a couple vent rages.

That way CCP can save some man hours and possibly release the entire expansion at once.

How about a compromise? CCP just makes the video and puts it to any song by pendulum.
