Making isk the big hitters and how?

I recently made it past the 10 billion isk mark. I feel pretty well off but for some 10 billion is what 1 million feels like to me right now.

I could carry on doing what 'm doing to make 10 times more etc but when I hear of players owning possibly trillions in
liquid + asset's I ask myself how are these players amassing these vast quantities of isk?

There are players in the wanted section asking to buy rare ships and saying they have unlimited wealth to buy.

How is all this wealth produced?

Telling you would ruin it. Personally I topped out at about 60bn before giving most of it away, most of it was made through market trading/manipulating, and some production.

Abusing broken game mechanics is one of the big ones right now. Join faction warfare with an alt that can fly a fast, tanky frigate and capture complexes. You don't even need to be able to use weapons (your ship will be easier to fit, and cheaper to replace, if you have no weapons).

I'd think to amass big sums tyou have two option : trade or become an alliance leader/earn trust and scam .


Speaking for myself i done decent and most comes from trade and oddly enough investments ... yes some are not scams go figure.

I Don't make much ISK, but some people do 10/10 DED's and get dat deadspace/officer loot

I am surprised no one mentioned the dreaded PLEX. My RL friend has bought like 20 of them in the last few years to sell. That is close to 10 bil without counting his trading or mission rewards.

As for me, I have made most of mine from trading and about another 10% from nullsec anoms. Money is not hard to get, just dont spend it all when you get it, and be smart about selling loot from rat kills.

The surest fire way to get into the trillions is to amass power in EvE. Power like a major alliance head. Most of us don't have that though...

Some people provide a service. They take the time to design things... like poker or lotteries (I don't trust your dice Chribba!)). Somer has gotta be doing well.

I'm trying to do it through scamming and market speculation. I'll tell you how it works out this spring.
