For all I can tell eve online has decreased player base since 2010, sure there have been spikes here and there but a lot of people are playing other games like GW2 for example. I know half my ex alliance does.

Rgr that. I just purchased a Caldari Navy Waaambulance, and put Forum Whine lvl5 into the skill lineup.

I am paying for a product that I buy and quite like, but the people selling me that product keep telling me all the ways that they are going to make the product better by making it less enjoyable for me.

Complaining about it seems pretty reasonable.

~18K pilots online currently at 5am my time, but this goes back 24 hours. Interesting how many ships have been killed in Highsec compared to other secs.

Wow, null has like two red circles. High sec looks like a capitol blob.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Hey Mallak, there's these guys out west and north (and soon to be the south and east) - you might even know them - who have blobbed fought their way and smashed all likely opposition.

The guys they are smashing are sooooo sick of it they are flooding into that soft, cuddly, safe environment because there's nowhere else to go.

You can only punch people in the head for so long.

I'm sorry that you're unable to believe anything other than your own delusions, I really am.

You mad that we aren't buying into yours?

There are complainers in every single game.

If you think this is bad you should go to the BF3 and MW3 forums.

It doesn't matter if EVE gets low on players, they'll just merge servers.

The goons had a stated goal in the past to ruin games.
People thought it was just a joke.

Yet

Goons through exploitation have changed the way the game is now.

Bob destruction though exploit
Hulkageddon
Turning freighter ganking into an artform
Turning most of nullsec into a homofest.
Faction war exploits
massive farming(don't deny it)
Massive influx of ISk, thus ruining the market through inflation.and through it all you arsehats have cheered them, and keep this and near every other forum full of hatred.

No its not the dumbing down of the game, its all the utter jerkoffs that play it.

And as I have said repeatedly, more people live in highsec, and this constant attack on highsec is driving the playerbase away

Now I remember why I haven't actually played EVE for the last week... aside from not having so much time due to real-life stuff, that is...

Yeah blame goons! An unprecedented turn of events!

Playing a game that even CAN be manipulated is pretty much what sums up why eve has even survived nearly 10 years. And the possibility of your hard work blown into a white triangle is what makes "spreadsheets online" an unfair term.

And really, the new players who are likely to stick around are the ones who get involved, as opposed to lurking around an npc corp farming isk and only poking their necks out when their freighter gets ganked.

You take the elements of risk and the emergent gameplay out of eve and your left with X3. And that game is boring.

It's a fairly simple question

You all know, no matter how much we deny it, the game is slowly dieing. The amount of people on during the week is barley topping 30k, now with EvE and the amount of systems, this is simply not enough players.

So why is it when CCP try to *dumb down* and make high sec *safer* for new players

You all start complaining like children?

Grow up, do you want EvE to dissapear or don't you care? We need more players, alot more players.

Quit your moaning

Dunno which days you play on, I see far more than that in my prime. And since early 2007 when I joined the game the numbers online have steadily risen, there was a dip when teh incarna thing hit but it rose again and will continue to rise.

Stop complaining.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

Because its a better use of time to complain on the forums than actually play the game.

It's along the lines of Douglas Adams' comment that "it has been found that if a human's mouth stops moving, it's brain begins to work"...

Now, what to post about next Oops
