I've always said a Jump Drive module should be just that, a way for a non jump drive ship to travel with fuel costs. But my idea had you lock on to stars instead of cynos. So they would work in hi sec as well.

Star Jump Drive A new way to traverse the galaxy.

as i understand its a micro warp drive as in it warps you say 100 km on grid not a micro jump drive but a micro jump drive would be cool aslong as it didnt need a cyno and had a small range say less then 3 ly
