So I have been quietly learning the capsuleer lifestyle. Despite being in a corporation it has been an isolating experience. Perhaps it's me and not New Eden. Alas I publish my confessions like my facial tattoos for all to see.

Before I was reborn a capsuleer I read the exploits of pirates, explorers, searched and learned the history that was available. It helped this cold space feel more familiar. For those capsuleers just starting perhaps my failings can be an education. For those more successful than I then perhaps my folly may be of amusement. For those restless souls who dream of reshaping null-sec, of imprinting your glory amongst the starts join me. Is it a delusion or vision, greed or envy? I am not sure. I just wish to test myself against the best.

If you are a wily veteran well scarred in the ways of New Eden, teach me, I am an eager student.

Fly Safe.

From what I can read, you seem to be doing it your way and not doing so too badly. You talk about being the worst Capsuleer in history, but you haven't had to downship (which I did, the first time I transitioned from Destroyers to Cruisers, flew a Cruiser I couldn't afford and wound up back in my Covetor.)

I would say that mission running is damn lucrative and a very reliable source of income. Getting to the point where you can solo Level IV agency missions is knowing that you'll never go hungry again. Certainly it's less interesting, but even Capsuleers have to do maintenance.

Once you feel you have truly reached your nadir, then you have only upwards to travel.

Hi all, thanks for the replies . My capsuleer confessions hit what I think was an all time high 19 page views when I posted this yesterday. Appreciate the kind words and thoughts from those of you who read a bit of my journey. Very kind of you.

I read about capsuleers who are prowling low and null sec getting good fights in the first couple of weeks while I am dawdling in high sec grinding on Angel Cartel pirates and drones, except for the occasional Uni noob blob fleet. It a very good corporation with a great idea behind it and good resources but it really doesn't yet feel like I belong here. Maybe it's just too big or maybe it's me.

Anyway here's to hoping I get into some more interesting stuff soon. There sure seems to be a lot going on in New Eden.
