A lot of people contact me and ask if OUCH is still teaching? The answer to that is always, "Yes."

Sometimes though, I get asked if OUCH is still recruiting. It's hard not to say "No", but the honest answer is OUCH never is recruiting. Even this thread is more of an advertisement of a service vice recruitment propaganda.

When you join OUCH, you're enrolling into a training program. It's an Open enrollment. You have 90 days to complete the course. We don't charge a fee. We just ask that our students stay out of null sec and low sec until they've been trained to operate there, and fly the ships that they are authorized to fly where they're authorized to fly them.

We don't even recruit staff: Graduates of our program that want to stay apply to join our team as an Instructor. If accepted, they stick around to pass along what they have learned to the next guy while they work on the next stage of their personal development. Our students are encouraged to find the corp that's right for them.

So, if that sounds like something you want to do with your Eve, all you have to do is apply.Smile

OUCH operation members (trainers), know that to survive (or thrive) in eve is to adapt / evolve.
And since we're a nullsec survival/pvp university, we're always updating our programs for students.
So classes one year ago were most likely a bit different than classes today.
Whatever they throw at us, we adapt.

Join OUCH, find out that null sec is nothing to be scared about.

I'm going to take the plunge and try to do a weekly post on the Art of War Alliance Blog.

I don't know where it's going to go, or even if it's going to be something good, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

Do you have a lot of cargo to haul from some remote null sec system, but don't know how to do it safely?

Join OUCH, we'll teach you :)

I only joined recently, but I've learned so much. The course is really well thought out, and helps most with building confidence and establishing proper thinking for null sec, and EVE in general.

The forum you get access to after joining is a treasure trove of guides, tips, stories and information, some of which is probably elsewhere, but not nearly as well cataloged.

EVE is not like anything else out there, but these guys will prove to you it need not be intimidating.

Here's some of what OUCH offers:

1. Good series of classes, well-prepared. This will take you about a month to work through the key classes; each set requires about two hours of your time.

2. A challenging 0.0 travel event that will test what you learned and build confidence in yourself and what you learned.

3. Practical PvP fleet operations that teach you to apply the classwork to PvP combat.

4. A great group of guys, both students and staff. You'll make contacts that may come in handy far down the line.

Even if your future isn't going to center on PvP, what you learn will make you a more survivable player. You'll learn to avoid combat as well as how to win at it.

"Universities exist to transmit knowledge and understanding of ideas and values to students not to provide entertainment for spectators or employment for athletes."

~Milton Friedman~

That is right Milton, we don't provide entertainment for spectators, we fly, fight and teach by our rules but theres nothing wrong with having a little fun while doing so.

Check out OUCH-UNI our recruitment channel.

Kill more, Die less, Win at eve. or something like that.

I guarentee that even older players will learn something new going through our tried and true course.

Learn

survive

Kill.

A solid bunch of guys who know their $hit. If you have been debating about taking the plunge into the l33t pvp combat that Eve has to offer then these guys are a great start! Join up with them and have a blast! With a complete open recruitment policy, what do you have to worry about? Put in an application today and start mining hulls off other people's ships!

My first day in nullsec with Ouch we got hotdropped by carriers after pissing off a seriously large npc nullsec alliance from killing tons of their stragglers who simply were not bringing their A game. WE WERE IN T1 FRIGS AND CRUISERS THE ENTIRE TIME Not many corps can make that boast ;)
