Eve Client stopped working on my imac

Short story, the other day I had a power outage while playing Eve on my mac (21/2 year old imac). When the power was back, I powered-up the mac and started eve. The monitor was blank, with no sound, and the "esc" key didn't work either. I tried "command+option+return" and nothing. I had to turn it off and restart. I tried reinstalling the eve client and I get the same results. Every other program seems to be working fine. Eveonline is the only one that doesn't work now.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you

Not sure if this will work, if you have done a complete reinstall, but if you use Time Machine try restoring from a back up when you know Eve was working.
