I finally got ganked.

3 years of Eve, and I finally, finally, got ganked in hi sec while mining.

I'm not complaining. I'm just a little bemused, and weirdly proud. I sorta feel like I've made it, for some reason.

Closing on 5 years here, and I haven't managed to get ganked yet, even though I seem to antagonise enough people to warrant it. Maybe it's because I mainly antagonise people who think it should be abolished. Oops

This is in-line with how I think. Getting killed is just part of the way it should go.

You should mitigate the risk to your liking. Greater rewards for larger risks, of course. And then accept the inevitable loss when it arrives as part of the game.
