I did a quick search on the forum but couldn't find any answers, i'm considering training heavy interdictors, and i got a question regarding the skills needed for it. What skills do i need to train for interdictors to be fully efficent. This is nearly a 50 mill sp pilot with all fitting skills etc maxed out. So it's more a question in regards to the hictor specific skills.

On top of that i am also considering trying out recons, what skills can be considered mandatory for those? I'm the most interested in Arazy/curse, but will by no means overlook the others.

Thankful for your help

Did you get those 50 mil SP without ever consulting Evemon or EveHQ skill planner feature?

Find a fit, import if into fitting tool, see what skills you need, start training what you are lacking.

Considering i rarely fly those ships at all it is hard for me to determine if a fit is good or not, also i do not use battleclinic except as a baseline. However the reason i ask here is because it allows me to get more indepht knowledge from other players.

And to answer your first question, i use evehq frequently and usually set up 2-3 plans at a time i want to do within a certain timeframe. But i refer to my first answer to this, before i plug in those plans i'd like some more detailed input in terms of theese ships and what skills they require.

Graviton Physics 5 is a less well known one that is good to have for interdictors

To be precise, you need it to V to get the T2 WDFG for your HIC. For a normal interdictor, you just need it to I to get the interdiction probe launcher.

HICS and Recon:

These are 2 ship class where the ship skill itself really shines at V.

Recons are paper thin generally, so Recon V gives you range for a sefety net, and a strength bonus to the e war effects you use.

Heavy Interdicter is all about the bubble you emit. Level V gives you a Large warp disrupt field and a weapons range bonus on most of the heavy dictors.

HICS are known for tank, so you would like good tank skills to fly them.
Recons need the electronics skills at 4 and most ppl leave them at 4... V is just better, but I suppose it depends on how muc you use that ship.
