Need Help With Solo PVP

So I have been trying out solo PVP lately in FW, and I'm loving it, even if it can be more risky than flee However, I'm finding that some people manage to get away from me, and I'm looking for advice on how to be a deadlier solo PVPer Pirate

My comp is this: boosting loki running skirmish + armor links, cloaky loki with webs and scram, bait frig, and two falcons.

Anyway, what I do is this. I have one account in a gunless frig plexing to bait people into ganking him. I park my cloaky dudes on the in-gate, and I gank people as they come into the plex. Now my issue is that a lot of people fly frigs, and they seem to be able to sometimes coast out of scram range of my loki (I dont fit a prop mod because I have a lot of webs and sebos) and are able to get away.

I was thinking of switching one of the falcos to an arazu or proteus, because apparently these get bonuses to point range. Would this be a good idea? Which one would be better? Would there be a more effective way to hold down these frigs?

Assume that the falcon alt can fly anything, but it has to have a cloak because I dont want people to see the trap. What would your fifth ship be?

And please trolls who say this isnt solo PVP, keep away. I'm the one guy, so it's solo by definition.

Get better and two falcons.... Theres a word people use for your sort. I believe you know it already.

Five alts and five accounts to catch a frigate? Try plexing in a single frigate with guns. Then you can test your skills against any frigate that enters.

You're right that you need more tackle, but switching one falcon to a tackle ship is dangerous because you want two falcons at all times. I'd recommend getting a sixth account with a rapier+faction point, and consider a seventh account with another falcon to be on the safe side.

So what if he rolls with a few falcons. Im sure this guy gets challenging pilots who come in perfectly able to counter those falcons and give our friend here quite the challenge.

Honestly, I would switch the cloaky Loki to a Rook and the skirmish Loki to a Proteus running infolinks. Other than that, setup looks fine. Using Falcons is one of the most rewarding ways to PVP, so I fully support this OP.

If OP is actually a troll, I am very disappointed.

i agree to all the above but you need a eight account with a curse to counter the counter of the counter for your falcon

so he only wants 3 Falcons?

Is it even possible to solo pvp with only 3 Falcons?




Actually now I think about it, maybe fit a covert cyno so if it gets a bit hairy you can bridge in some more falcons.

So you'll need a Blackops aswell.

Because your mum just couldn't say no.

Are you trolling yourself? You use 5 toons so its small gang pvp not solo. And in this case your only bating and ganking so thats not even "real" pvp. Yes its pvp but pretty lame pvp. Then you two need falcons to jam those pesky frigates Lol

But to your question yes arazu is the ship with bonused ward disruptor range. Proteus have one too but id say that arazu would suit better for your small gang purposes.

Protip: In solo pvp you pvp with single ship.
