Shields got there cap booster mod where is the armor mod that uses nanite paste in stead of cap

I too would like to see an armor repair module that does not require capacitor.

Oooh! I know! Instead of cap charges or repair paste, it could use 800mm armor plates as charges.

Post with your monkey.

Furthering that notion, it could use plates of varying sizes for fuel, depending on the size of the repper!

That's a nice paradox.

By the time there's any fuel, the rep is already too late!

Brilliant!!! Cool

Every year I do the obligatory "give us bug ships!" (like in the TV show "Lexx") and I propose that it should heal itself by feeding on frozen corpses.

Do I win?

You can't expect there to be a complete parity between mod types. At least that's what i was told when I asked for a Passive Invul...

Well to be fair armor doesn't regenerate passively at all. So even without a passive invul, armor kind of gets the ol' ramrod. Especially with the ASB working as it does.

God not more things we can't neut my curse will go out of business at this rate not being able to use TD's on missiles either Sad
point is ASB's in their current form are bad for the game if they made them have to use some of the ships cap so they could be neuted out that would balance them somewhat amongst the other changes they are making to them atm.

Armour reps just need a slight buff to amount repped nothing more plus nanite paste is not cheap

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

I dont understand all the hate . . . in my experience, most of the ships i go up against that use an ASB dont run a cap booster.

This means that my neuts are still super effective against them because i turn off all their hardeners, and their tank drops anyway. The ASB only does so much when you have 20% EM resist.

Of course I never have come up against a T2 matari ship running the ASB, I guess i'd rather not face an ASB vagabond, but isnt that what the module was intended to do? add another option to small gang PvP other than all buffer all the time?
