I am posting with an alt if you cant tell.



Background:

I am a general member of one of the DotBros. During the summer months we were told to stock up on ISK and get ready for a "Big War". This was happening before and around the time of ATX. So membership was pretty active with ISK grinding, PVP and ATX practice. Days went by and summer was coming to an end then one fateful night we were shooting a FA or FCON tower and all of a sudden OTEC was broken and the "war" was on.

The War:

At first moral was high and the constant OPs were a nice change from the previous months. The first fight of this "war" was looking pretty grim from our side. We had a pretty big fleet for us with another fleet from s2n. Then CFC arrived with 3 full fleets of ships. We stuck around and fought but I ended up getting killed, lagged out because I left brackets on.

After that first fight we were shooting stuff, dunking CFC fleets and laughing all the while sitting on the stock pile of ISK we were told to hord. Fights have gone pretty much the way of DotBros, but the war has definitely gone the way of CFC. They have taken the space and the Tech moons but havent broken the spirit .

I live in the US and so my main TZ is USTZ. These past couple of weeks have seen the CFC not form up or just go do other things. Like roam in Period Basis, shoot "staging" towers for supers that are not staged there or just plain out lying and telling their fleets that we are not formed up and no fights to be had. Looking at my participation in fleets these past couple of weeks I can say that, We are forming up, we are shooting stuff (sbus mostly) and we are waiting on your "bloc level" FCs to do something.

Since the beginning we have understood that stopping the invasion wouldnt happen and that ~goodfights~ was the main objective. Our objective has been met time and time again with some really awesome fights, sweet ganks and the occasional welps.

Our numbers have went up and down and are now on the upward swing again. Some new alliances have been showing up to help out. Even though some of the people that were fighting along side of us left to do their own thing, decided to try and take TECH in Gemiante from NCDot or couldnt get the ~goodfights~ in EU TZ and left.

Over the last two months CFC have tried 6 main pushes and a partial SotG dedicated to the war effort. Shortly after this an alliance update came out trying to divide us. All the propaganda and old tricks CFC have used in the past are not working for them. Even the dreaded Convo spam from CFC fleets have been dealt with with a click of a button.

2+ months have passed and only 1/2 of Tribute has been lost plus some Tech moons. 1/2 of one region done, 1.5 more to go. Since most of the DotBros could care less about these two facts the repeated local spam of +132234 tech moons or + 4 systems really dosent do much, except lag your client if you are stupid enough to leave local open.

Most of us are fine on ISK for a very long time and dont plan on going anywhere soon. We are getting the good fights and meeting new friends. This is probably the longest Sov War I have been involved in and definitely the most fun. I can not thank the leadership of NCDot for giving the CFC the finger to kick this all off.

Current:

Last weekend when DBRB went to reinforce some staging towers that were not used for staging, the DotBros took the war to RZR and reinforced a TECH moon and two POS with CSAAs. The timers were pretty much all over the place except one that was timed for AU TZ.

Flashforward to this morning, AU TZ.

- 1 POS
- 1 CSAA
- 1 RZR CSAA building a Titan
- 19 RZR carriers trying to REP dying POS
- 2 CFC fleets

Now that you mention that ...

I guess it'll happen once our "morale has fallen" past a certain lower limit?

The last SotG was 5 minutes dedicated to VR the other 15 minutes were about the War. I would consider it a SotG directed towards the war effort.

Now I realize why you are in FA.

Did you quit the CFC for not helping and standing down the slow cat fleet? If not, then the proper people havent been sacked.

Yeah, you guys didn't want that space anyway. I'm pretty sure that's why you're posting on a Rep Uni character.

Posting with your main while fighting against the CFC will lead to being primary in a fight, trying to be convoed spammed or generally harassed ingame.
