I want the NPC's to be flying Logi andECM ships, I want people to have to fleet up with others and actually think about their ship fits and work together as a Team before tackling level 4 Missions

Sure you will get lots of people in NPC's corps crying but like I give a damn.

You want to shoot spaceships solo, go and download Freespace 2 (its free) or some other single person spaceship game

You're not very bright, are you?

How about you go play CSS?

People less trolling more talking about betted npcs

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Yes I'm a complete idiot so please explain to me why you think this is bad idea.. would it be perhaps you are one of those nameless NPC Players who don't like to play with others?

Maybe its because the thought of CCP changing the AI so you can no longer run those level 4 mission afk scares the bejesus out of you?

I believe that is the entire point behind what they are doing to the npc's. Its a gradual shift towards wanting there to be little differences between pve and pvp setups/skillsets.

Absolutely,

The gradual notching up in the NPC AI levels will mean that players are going to have to move away from 'this is sort of ok' fits, to fitting specifically and carefully.

I'm pretty sure it will be a natural change, but it's one that I'm quite looking forward to.

Thanks and fly safe.

Once again, a disaster for people trying to make ISK to pay for their account.
The bottom line is fits that work for ISK generation are NOT PvP fits.

How many people fit MwD's and blasters in a mission?
Of course, this is all part of the plan to wipe out high sec entirely, but that is another thread.

They are no not PVP fits because the current mechanics....

Stop crying that you can't farm ISK anymore.

FC, what do?

Well in anomalies, NPCs just appear in waves.

If they actually had a cyno appear and then the ships jump in a second later (like they hotdropped you) it would be cool.

U know I have wondered how this npcs just appear out of nothingness

Better yet, it USED to be that you started off (in some anoms) with twice as many rats. Now, a doublespawn is more like a bug.

What would be really great would be if sometimes they just jumped in two waves at once. By "great" I mean "kind of amusing" because sheesh I get bored ratting sometimes, you know.

At least when orbiting complexes as a loyal Minmatar alt, I can chat with the blinky orange rats that will gank me...

In this supposed gradual change to pvp fit npc missions, somewhere along the way there will need to be a giant lurch forward to decrease the overall number of npcs to players and npc ships power increased as pvp is not 1 player taking out 30+ other players. And individual npcs being worth more. And that's how many missions to reform? They are not going to gradually change mission goals. They are better off introducing new "levels" of missions and just phasing out the old 1 through 5 later on. There will be PvE fits for years to come.
