EVE Mentat 1.1.30 Release


Major changes in this release:

  • Database updated to Inferno 1.0.

Database from previous version can be imported by selecting appropriate option at the first launch.

On the beginning: thnx guys for this app. You're doing awesome job there for as!

I would like to ask for some features.
I was using this site for quite long time: http://www.evemarketeer.com , but it's not useful anymore. This site had few features that i was using all the time:

- traded item comparison & profit
+ table with columns (item, sum_price_buy, buy_count, sum_price_sell, sell_count, profit)
+ list based on selected time period
+ it would be cool to see there columns (buy_tax, sell_tax, profit_deduct_taxes) - i know its hard, coz API journal doesn't have in taxes rows order id field, but this still could be rounded by taking tax size (skills + standing in station order is done) and counting it from sum amounts.

- trade per hour / day (own image to show you what i mean)
+ graph that shows average buy / sell / profit lines per day (mon-sun) or hour (1-24) based on selected time period

- summary (some of this data we can find already in some tabs in EveMentat so it isn't necessary)

would be nice if all this options will not take items that are selected as 'ignore transaction'.

Actually you have all the data needed for this graphs already. I think many of us will appreciate if you will include that to EveMentat. I will do for sure :)

One more thing: could be there option for autorefreash data (similar as it is done in EveMon)?

Most of these features were already planned. But I can say nothing about estimations because there are lot of tasks with greater priority.

EVE Online proposes API functions with quite different caching times (from 15 min to few hours), and automatic update will cause temporary data inconsistency. So I'm afraid implementing this.

I love this tool. I would like to see the following features:


  • Profit Summary (Daily / Weekly / Monthly / All Time) on the front page.
  • Top 20 Selling Items ( By Profit / Volume )
  • Orders to restock (Comparison between buy & sell orders)
  • Stats on each item (How many sold, how many purchased, average buy price, average sell price, profit). I know you can get this from transactions, and filtering, but it would be nice to have it automated.

great programe, quick question, can you see profit after broker fee/taxes etc? thanks.

Maybe I missed the option, or it's not coded but is there a way to see if my buy order has been outbid by another order within range of the source station? I can set it to flag orders that outbid me X distance away, but cannot seperate those out from orders who's range includes my station. It seems either everything is flagged because the trade hub beats out my lower buy orders OR it misses buy orders that are not at the same station, but who's range includes my station.

Were that to be resolved, I could make some use of of this program, since checking bid competition is my big peeve wrt trading.

Currently EVE Mentat uses distances between the rivals and actual order's range to calculate price status.
And there is no possibility to limit this to the station. But I can add a kind of limitation for buy orders.

When I update my Character orders and/ or market it never seems to update them corretly or at all, Anyone have any idea whats wrong?

Hiya,

Eve Mentat is acting strange after this morning. It stopped updating a few sell orders and it's not showing that I have been outbidded. Looking in the Market browser tab, I can see that my Sell order isn't the cheapest anymore. In the Character orders tab however, it wont color red. The actual price does update in the Character orders tab, but it wont give me a signal I have been outbidded.

Perhaps I'm doing it wrong.

I'm importing data from the EVE Online client location. I also tried importing out of: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\d_games_eve_tranquility\cache No luck.

Feature Request: Ability to ignore specific market orders for "Price Override" conditions

Ex. Scam buy order shows up for 800 isk/unit 6.5m unit minimum requirement. Normal buy order: 220 isk/unit.
Ex. Someone unloads a quantity of an item at half-way between buy/sell order prices. I'd like to be able to ignore that specific order so I don't drive the overall price down as fast.

I'm a jerk.  Get used to it.
